I visited Floyd’s in Ashburn for the first time today, and Justine absolutely exceeded my expectations. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and delivered an awesome haircut with great attention to detail. You can tell she really cares about her craft. I walked out feeling fresh and confident. Highly recommend booking with Justine — she’s fantastic! --- If you want it more casual, more enthusiastic, or more detailed, I can shape it however you like.

I saw Gabi today, she is the best!! She completely understood the cut I wanted and even razor cut my hair when I asked. I previously went to a salon that charged me twice as much for my hair to be nothing like I wanted. If you’re looking for an alternative women’s cut, like a wolf cut or shag, I cannot recommend Gabi more!!

Went today, had excellent service from Justine, she’s a pro. Went a ton a few years ago when I lived closer, never had a bad experience. Highly recommend.

i have been to every barbershop in this area and no one can do a good low fade until i met Mono J she is truly the best in the area so if you want someone that can do a good fade shes got'chu

DO NOT GO HERE!! The woman that cut my hair was very rude and super political. At one point she kept talking about politics even though I gave many social queues that I wanted it to stop. She made me extremely uncomfortable. Now for the haircut… All I wanted was a touch up but she proceeded to do the exact opposite of what I wanted (she cut everything off and butcher my hair). Will never be going back to this establishment.

We’ve been looking for a barber who can do fun, stylish cuts for a toddler, and after two underwhelming experiences elsewhere, I decided to give Floyd’s a try. The vibe of the shop gave me hope that we’d finally walk out with something cool. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The shop itself has a great atmosphere; cool decor with band photos on the walls and good music playing. The stylist who worked with my son was friendly and explained that the specific style we had in mind likely wouldn’t work with his hair texture, which I understood going in. She recommended waiting until his hair thickens up a bit and I appreciated the honesty. I then asked for something that would still look fun and cool. She mentioned she wouldn’t be using clippers and would just give it a trim, but I wasn’t aware that meant such a shift in the final look. The result was a very classic, traditional boys’ haircut; not what we were going for. On top of that, I didn’t notice in the shop due to the lighting, but one side of his head looks uneven and messy. My son actually sat very well during the cut so I’m unsure how that happened. While we’ve had cuts in the past that missed the style mark, at least the execution was solid; this felt like neither. For over $30, this felt more like something we could’ve gotten at a basic kids’ haircut studio for much less.

I can’t say enough great things about this barbershop. Every time I walk through the door, I’m impressed not only by the service I receive but by the way they treat every single customer. Jessica is absolutely incredible – I’ve watched her transform the shop from top to bottom, creating a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment. Her dedication shines through in everything she does. Mary Jane is also fantastic and such a pleasure to work with. Both of them make the experience worth the drive. I travel from Tyson’s Corner – a solid 30-minute drive, sometimes longer with traffic – and I gladly do it because of Jessica and Mary Jane. I could get my hair cut anywhere, but I choose this location specifically because of them. They truly embody the values of Floyd’s 99, and their passion for what they do sets this shop apart. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for not just a haircut, but a great experience!

An older black lady with short red hair completely ruined my hairline. I look ridiculous; this place doesn't have experienced barbers. I lost like an inch behind my ears.
