Mai and Kim are wonderful, always ready to provide a great haircut at a reasonable price. I have been getting my hair cut here since they opened, originally because one of the barbers moved from Ballston Barber. I recommend calling for availability so you don't have to wait.

I had an amazing experience at this barbershop. The haircut was phenomenal—precise, clean, and exactly what I asked for. TL Barbershop is top-tier, but I have to give special recognition to Shadi. He’s a true artist with the clippers. From the moment you sit in his chair, he takes great care of you and really pays attention to what you want. He goes above and beyond every single time to make sure you leave happy, confident, and pleased with yourself. The attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience are unmatched. If you’re coming to TL Barbershop, ask for Shadi, you won’t be disappointed.

Went in to get a haircut from Frank, and he’s been my go-to ever since. Does amazing work and I’m always leaving happy with my cut. Reasonably priced and quick service, I would recommend Frank if you need a new barber!

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut here. My guy Frank takes his time, pays attention to every detail, and makes sure you leave the chair looking sharp. The fade came out clean, the lineup was perfect, and the whole vibe of the shop was welcoming and professional. You can tell he cares about his craft and about his clients. Went to get a cut with my boy Frankling and damn… he killed it. The fade came out clean, exactly how I wanted. Dude knows his craft, takes his time, and makes sure you walk out looking fresh as hell. If you hit this barbershop, ask for him, he’s the man!

This is my go to haircut spot. Mai, the owner is not only a solid professional, but she is a great stylist. She has cut my hair every month for the last four years and I only see Mai. I have watched her take customers who ask for adjustments, over and over and she does it with a smile.

The premises are clean, the prices are reasonable, and some of the barbers are good. However, I am extremely upset with one of the main barbers there. I went in for a cut, the top was left a little too long, so I came back just a few minutes later to get it cut just slightly more. I asked for only a tiny amount, specifically a week’s worth of hair, but she proceeded to cut much more, especially in the very front of my head where it is thinning. At the end she said she had cut half an inch, which is a month’s worth, not a week. She was in a hurry to get to other customers, so she did a quick and lackluster fix. Now I’m left with hair too short, just a couple weeks before a milestone birthday of mine, when I will be seeing lots of family and friends, having pictures taken, etc. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she tried to tell me that she cut less than she did, when I SAW HER CUT MORE. Furthermore she kept harping on the simple fact that I asked to have it shortened. Yes, I asked to have it shortened, but a SPECIFIC AMOUNT, and she went more than what I requested. In addition, she denied having cut as much as half an inch… when she clearly told me at the end of the cut that she cut half an inch! What really bothers me is not that she made a mistake, but that she refuses to take responsibility for it AND tries to convince me (and herself) that she did otherwise. While in the past I’ve had a few good haircuts here, this left such a bad impression on me that I will not be coming back.
