I have been getting my haircuts with Don at Lee Barber Shop for almost 3 years now ever since I first moved to Falls Church. His attention to detail, consistency, and OCD-like drive for perfection with my low fades is what keeps bringing back despite me having moved an hour away near Baltimore. The quality of the cut and the pricing is worth the drive.

Have been coming to this barbershop for years. Consistently great service! They provide excellent haircuts for a better price than the vast majority of barbershops. I highly recommend Don. He's been my barber for a while and is extremely good at giving me a stellar cut every time. When I travel for extended periods and have to get my cut on the road, I'm quickly reminded of how blessed I am to know Don. He and his entire shop have always been very friendly and professional. I've had many bad experiences at various barber shops around the US, so it's a treat to finally get around to write this review. On a few occasions I needed a cut when Don was on his day off. I was nervous about having others cut my hair, but the other folks here also did a really good job. Something important to me: Many stylists or barbers rush the haircut. Yank your hair with the razor or don't get basic details of your cut. I've not had that problem here. I've never felt rushed and always had my tip reflect my gratitude. Thank you, Don and colleagues for all the great cuts!

I want to start by saying this review only reflects my personal experience. can tell from other reviews that this is usually a great place for haircuts. Unfortunately, my visit just didn’t meet expectations. I came in for a walk-in appointment this past weekend and was paired with a gentleman barber. I showed him a photo of the haircut I wanted (a regular skin fade with longer hair on top), and at first, things seemed fine. However, the entire haircut ended up taking almost 50 minutes because he appeared unsure of what he was doing. He repeatedly asked other barbers for assistance, and at one point, two other barbers had to step in to help with the fade. I completely understand if someone is new or still in training but that should be clearly communicated to customers upfront, especially if the barber isn’t comfortable performing a certain style. Unfortunately, the final result looked uneven, with one side more faded than the other. By that point, I didn’t feel confident enough to have him try fixing it or to wait longer for someone else. I hope this experience helps improve communication and training so future clients don’t go through the same situation.

I have been getting my haircut at Lee Barber Shop for 15 years. All three of my sons have had all their haircuts here for the entirety of their lives. All their barbers are wonderful and I could not recommend a better place to have your haircut in Arlington, VA.

They are just cash and you need to be aware of that before making an appointment. They also consider an adult to be anyone over 10 years old. Even though their website states they are great for kids. My largest concerns was that they still have the Covid19 barriers up and half the staff were wearing masks, which makes me uncomfortable. The haircut was decent but I was just uncomfortable wondering if they were not well as we know that masks were/are useless.

Been coming here for years, great place to get a haircut. Don is awesome. He does a great job, is very meticulous and is fun to talk to while getting a haircut. Highly recommend!

I showed three pictures of myself from an earlier time, specified that I was looking for a light trim, and she cut my hair extremely short. Completely ignored what I showed and told her. I also asked if they took card payments at the beginning to which she said yeah, come to realize they only take cash. Thankfully, they at least let me Zelle them. I will never come back here though. They are at least very polite and nice. However, I’m very disappointed in this cut considering the proactive steps I took.

Don does an excellent job every time! Never had a bad experience and is always making sure everything is perfect and the way you want it. 10/10 recommend! Edit: The second picture was a few months ago as I wanted to switch up the style of haircut from the previous picture. Don did another fantastic job as he is always super attentive to details and customers wants.
