Very disappointed. I was told the stylist was an expert with children, but he gave my son a haircut I never asked for. His justification was that he assumed we were Hispanic and chose a style he thought 'fit' that background. It’s incredibly unprofessional to decide on a child’s hairstyle based on an assumption about their ethnicity rather than talking to the father and charging me adults price. If you want a barber who actually listens to your instructions, go elsewhere. Sorry

This is by far one of the best barbershop in Arlington. I started getting my haircut at this shop after moving to the DMV area and I can say thir barbers are really professional. I want to personally recommend my barber, Mostafa, awesome barber and very humble guy. I rate this barbershop 10/10. Definately AAAAAA+++++

Aziz is the real deal, clean cuts every time, great energy, and good vibes from start to finish. Takes his time and makes sure everything is on point. Always leaving fresh. Highly recommend 🔥💯💯

I needed to get my son a haircut and I took a last minute appointment with aziz and he did not disappoint, he did exactly what my son wanted and showed him in the picture. He was very professional and so nice to kids. Will definitely be back for his excellent service.

Worse place ever. Don't come to this barbershop, the manager was very rude and saying it's not her fault because she didn't make the appointment. As a manger she's responsible since she hired him ! My son appointment was at 11am Johnny agreed to be there and he never showed up we waited 1 hour Save your money this place needs to be closed ! Also it's very dirty I will need to call the health department

I walked into this place trying get a cut and I even brought a photo. I had been here several years before and got a great cut. That did not happen this time and I will need to get what was done to my head fixed by another barber. I don't recommend you visit this establishment and I will not return.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, I went to Illy’s as a walk-in and had Sondes as my barber. Moral of the story: I will not be visiting this establishment again and for anyone who plans to, I suggest you check all tools prior to allowing Sondes to do anything to your hair. As a walk-in I knew I was going to take the next available barber and Sondes happened to be that. After sitting down and explaining that I just wanted the sides of my hair shaved down with a 1 guard, Sondes said she understood and started cutting down my hair with the clippers. After the second cut, I stopped her and asked if she was sure she was using a 1 guard because the spot she had cut was very short compared to what I am used to. She assured me it was a 1 guard and continued for another pass. Again after noticing how low it was, I stopped her and again asked if she could check the guard to verify that she was using a 1 guard (at this point I was fairly confident she wasn’t). She proceeded to look at the guard (not realizing that I am also looking), quickly flip it over, and attempted to continue cutting my hair. At this point, I stopped her and grabbed the guard out of her hand to show her that she was in fact using a .5 guard even as she continued to try to say she was using the correct guard. After correcting her, I had her continue the haircut because she had already started with the incorrect guard and there wasn’t really a way to turn back. Not once did she apologize for or admit to the mistake and not once was any compensation (such as a discount) offered. While the haircut was not the worst (not great and not what I asked for, but wearable), the fact the Sondes attempted to hide and failed to admit to her mistake made this an awful experience.

First time customer with a newly minted 5 yo who wanted a Mohawk. Sondes, was absolutely fantastic! My son was the most fidgety child in the chair, but she is extremely patient and was just simply amazing.
