I hesitate to write this review because this barbershop is a very well kept secret! Leigh is an amazing barber. She shows exceptional attention to detail. Honestly, they could double their prices, and they still would be less expensive than haircuts in Arlington or Washington DC. I’ve only good things to say. They even squeezed me in at the last minute before a last minute, incoming visit from my mom. Please note, the barbershop is moving as of April 30, and they will not open again until May 28. At that time, they will be at 7660 Richmond Highway, in suite #145. They will be located inside of the “Salon Phoenix“.

This barber shop is very affordable. You can get a regular haircut for $15 and skin fade for just $18. I got a skin fade, and I am very satisfied with the quality. Just ask for Stonie when you go there. He will take good care of you and you won't regret.

The price attracted me, but i don’t think this barbershop is the best for African-American kinky-hair texture folks. She faded me beautifully, but respectfully, I couldn’t believe she was about to let me walk out with my hairline looking like that lol a young boy got his hair almost balded, and I overheard the mother saying no oil was applied after the cut. This shop is more for straight hair texture folks. Just saying

This is hands-down, my favorite new Barbershop to go to! Lee was fantastic and super friendly. She did a great job with the cut. The prices are reasonable for the service, and the location is in an excellent spot for anyone living in Alexandria! Thank you so much, I will be back again!

Great service and attention to detail. The mini neck massage at the end was a bonus. I was seated as soon as I entered. Only cash is accepted, but I picked some up at the Dollar Store next door.

Better than any other established hair salon, if you are a girl and reading this always ask for ms.Peggy she does an excellent job. I got long layered for just $18, unbelievable. And the hospitality and nice behavior of the stylist is a plus point.

I've been living in the area for a little bit and I gotta tell you, the building itself made me doubt about the quality of the haircuts, I was wrong. I've been there 3 times only and I can tell you Peggy does a great job! If you still worried about the covid and all the variants out there, they have sanitizer for costumers and staff still wearing their masks, for costumers the mask is optional. Another thing I love about this place is that the staff is focused on the haircuts and not in your personal life like other places, I love not being interrogated by the person who is cutting my hair and using blades near my neck and ears. Overall great service, plus no one can't beat their rates in the area!!!

I’ve been going to the place for over 10 years. The prices are amazing; best prices in the area even for women. A women’s haircut is $15. They only cut hair.they don’t style or shampoo. I was in and out very quickly. Peggy cut my hair and did an amazing job. She gave me her recommendations on what to do based on my hair. She’s just awesome. I do recommend calling in to see if a staff who cuts women hair is working before coming in. :)

Men's haircut is now $12, so still reasonable. As a past review mentions, the person cutting my hair only asked the necessary questions. However, I had a pleasant conversation with the other lady. The quality of the cut itself was great. Always enjoy when my haircut doesn't feel rushed.

My husband & sons have gone here since 2005. (Boys started as 3 year olds). GREAT price! No frills. Don't expect ANY small talk. Barbers are always very pleasant but not friendly. You wait in line on bench, you sit in next available chair, they ask what you want, they cut, ask if you it's good, will fix as requested, you get up you pay. Simple. All barbers do a good job. For $8 plus we leave a $2 tip the price can't be beat! My son refuses to go anywhere else.
