The barber rushed cut my hair.15min . After waiting for 2 hours and 30 minutes. I thought the white people that cut my hair have done a bad job. I thought going to a African American barber shop . I would get a better haircut . It's obvious they didn't want to cut my hair. People that leave good reviews really

My son loves getting his hair cut here. We've been coming here for 3 years. My son went through mowhock to just a regular fade to waves, he always walks out feeling good and looking good. The barber's are fast, friendly and professional. I strongly recommend Elite Cuts Barbershop.

One of the best shops in the NOVA area hands down. This place is man, woman, and child friendly. Very professional staff; the coffee in the back of the shop is great. I enjoy the atmosphere of the place, and only get cuts at Eite cutz the last couple of years now. I recommend Miguel or Chuck, but everyone else is welcoming and courteous!

Barbers can cut really good however, AT needs to learn how to accommodate to children with special needs. I have had a barber in Texas and NC understand my son’s needs because he has autism. If you are telling my wife you are not going to finish my son’s haircut because he is moving, you are not worth the drive or money.

I am writing this in response to Ms. T Broaden. I would like to apologize for your unpleasant experience. We were short staffed today and we all had multiple appointments waiting on us. We do close at 5 on Sundays but because of us being short staffed we were no longer taking walk-ins. The three barbers that were at the shop didn’t leave until after closing hours and I was here until 6 a hour after closing. We would have loved to service your son under regular circumstances. I personally apologize for the misunderstanding and if you return I will personally cut your sons hair for free. Sorry again this was not at all personal but just the circumstances that presented themselves today. I hope you decide to return. We always appreciate your business and would love to continue to service you and your son. Sorry again!!!

I have always had my son come here to get a haircut. The majority of the staff are really friendly. Today, I arrived an hour and 13 minutes prior to closing time. I spent the last few hours at the hospital with my daughter so I’m sleepy. BUT, my son needed a haircut badly. I drove from Arlington to this location to get his usual(sleep deprived). But, this is where my son loves to go. There were only 4 people in the barbershop. Three were in chairs. He turned my son away. I went in to see who and why because there is plenty of time prior to closing and the place is practically empty! I have never walked into this shop and seen it look empty. Miguel tells me with a nasty attitude that, “Just like me, he wants to get off too!” I’m like I’m sure of it, at 5, right? It’s 3:47pm. He said, “yea, but I want to get out at five!” I asked for his name and he had an attitude when telling me I can speak to so and so it doesn’t matter and his name is Miguel and yes, he said it. I’ve never interacted with Miguel before and hope to never do so in the future because he just isn’t what I’m used to when entering those premises. Not the professionalism I’m accustomed to. I did Not the receive the warm welcoming greeting we normally get. He was more concerned about showing out like he was the “Man in charge”. If the door says closing time at 5pm, and I walk in there with more than an hour until closing, we should have received service. Unacceptable.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. There was only two barbers working. I guess because of this the barbers were tired. I got a fade and it was my worst haircut in years. The barber messed up my hairline. The fade is not even and also not done well. He cut my mustache AND unevenly which is unbelievable. Then they charged me $28 for this mess the barber created. Would not recommend

So I’ve been coming to Upper Cuts for sometime now. Every time I go my hair comes out perfect. The fade is great with no signs of a line. My edge up is always crisp and straight. I’ve seen multiple barbers there and they all do fantastic work. I highly recommend this shop! You won’t regret it!

These guys are great. Best barbers I've found at a very decent price. But be warned: They are VERY busy and don't take appointments, it's first-come first-served and you may have to wait an hour or so at the busiest times. Come early, bring a book or your phone and relax while you wait for a great haircut from some great guys.
