Windcrest Barbershop is the best barbershop that I've been to in several decades. I've always had my haircut at traditional, walk-in barbershops and had searched all over San Antonio to find a good place. So many of these places want $40-$50 plus tip for a regular men's haircut, but these guys only ask $20 (of course I still tip well). All the barbers are incredibly friendly and quickly learn all about you. They make you feel genuinely welcome to be there and will treat you to a very fine haircut. I try to support them as frequently as I can since they are one of the very few traditional barbershops left. They do great work on men and boys of all ages. I see young kids coming in with their families and older men who love to come in and spend their time chatting with all the different barbers. This is my-go to barbershop and there is nowhere else that I can get such a great quality haircut and excellent service.

Wow. What a great place. This is a down to earth old to me barber shop with $20 cuts. Best cut I’ve had in years. Gerald has been a barber all his adult life - his father was a career barber as well.

This is a classic, old school barber shop. NOT a salon or a place you're gonna get your hair styled. However, there's probably over 100 years of experience, spread across the three barbers inside. So, I know you'll be able to walk in, talk with them, get cut and walk out satisfied. 100% recommended!!

Great place. It's old school like when I grew up but not old school where they Dippity Do your mustache. They probably would if you ask though. Simple barber shop. I've had my haircut by three different Barbers and they all did a great job.

I took my 1yo son to get his third haircut there, previously I had gotten them done at a hairdresser specifically for kids. Gerald cut his hair and did AMAZING. The haircut looked perfect but more importantly, it was the first haircut that my son didn’t cry through the whole time. Gerald took the time to make sure my son wasn’t scared and was enjoying the experience.

First time in we met Eloy. He did a fade and scissor cut on my son who is really picky when it comes to his hair. I was really impressed with his skills and the time he took on the head of my grown kid that has special needs. (Austism) I love the old school barber shops and I'm glad this is in Windcrest. We found a barber

Great classic barber shop. Bit be prepared to pay cash. Because they are old school, there's also no guarantee you'll get in and put quickly, and may have to wait for a while. But there's a TV playing old school TV and westerns, as well as LOTS of magazines to read while you wait. Their cuts are great, and if you want something specific make sure the show them EXACTLY what your looking for, otherwise you'll receive whatever they think would be a classic cut.

This is our family barber shop in Windcrest. Barbers are efficient and friendly. They have the special ability to put you at ease, while delivering a real sharp haircut and trim in the Spanish style. I especially wanted to thank Eloy, for taking care of my 90 year old father all these years.

Great job. Took my squirmy cantankerous 5 year old who has never been able to sit through a barber visit without it being a total meltdown and we left with him making me promise to take him there again. The haircut was neat and clean. Very friendly old school atmosphere. FYI Only CASH, no cards.
