One of the few barber shops that lists Flat Top as a service. As a Flat Top wearer, I thought I'd give Jordan, the owner, a try. He did a great job listening to how I wanted my hair cut and delivered exactly what I asked for. Will definitely be back. Straight razor shave was excellent too.

I had no idea what I wanted and Jordan helped me figure it out. Went back a couple days later and got Josh tuned me up. I got recommended by a guy who gets his hair cut by Matt! A great team, homely atmosphere, and a good mascot.

Recently moved to The Colony, needed to find a new barbershop. I hate looking for new places to get my hair cut. But entering Merle's barbershop was such a chill atmosphere, and really welcoming and kind staff. The performance and precision these barbers perform with is nothing more but talent. Will be returning here as long as I need haircuts and as long as I live in the colony

Matty is top notch. I’ve been getting flat top hair cuts for 40 years and most times it takes a person 4 or 5 times to really lock it in. Matty knocked it out of the park FIRST time. Best damn flat top I’ve gotten in a while. Highly recommend!! Hawaii Bill

Been going to a big time haircut place for awhile but wanted a change. Made a last minute appointment online with Matty. Awesome place! They have some retro hair tools on Display, very laid back cool place. A nice mix of retro and punk rock. They didn’t try to push their product or to sell me anything but it’s there if you want to ask about it. Matty took his time and I was extremely happy with the results!

FINALLY, Jordan, A worthy barber!! We were in and out and my son looks great! No complaints at all! Money and time well spent, will never go anywhere else and you shouldn't either!

Josh, Matt and Jordan are great! Fantastic atmosphere and service. I have been taking my sons to get the haircut here for almost a year and every time they do an excellent job. Can't recommend them enough.

I’ve been looking for a barber around The Colony since I moved here in 2019. Started out seeing Terry at “The Colony Barber Shop” for a few years until he closed. Then I went to random spots looking for a barber that can cut hair using scissors. After reading the reviews for this place, I decided to make an appointment. By far one of the best barbershops I’ve been to. Josh did a really good job figuring out what kind of cut I wanted. Great conversation and an extremely laid back and chill atmosphere. First time in the shop earlier today and I will be coming back for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cut at a reasonable price.

Josh is easily one of the best barbers I've ever had. I've gotten my haircut by over 20 people in my lifetime and Josh beats them all. He doesn't over-complicate things, he takes his time, listens to what you want, and provides a good experience. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new barber.

Matt from NY will do good by you. This shop is really what I was looking for. My past hair cut experience was with chain hair-cut places. I never had the same barber so each haircut felt like a trail and error experiment. This shop everything I could have hoped for.
