My experience here was and always have been wonderful! This guy Al, really knows his business the shaves he gives are truly amazing, and attention to detail this is a true man cave male experience. You will leave the place with a clean face and a brand new wealth of knowledge. Thanks Al your tha man!!

I did a whole year as a member before writing a review to make sure I give an accurate review. It's pricey for sure, and the first few haircuts the result matches the price. however, there is a lot on inconsistencies with the work - sometimes its a good haircut and sometimes its not. I wouldn't mind if the price was below $20, but the price. involves the haircut price + a membership price that you pay upfront to cover the whole year. The membership is pitched as to give you access exclusively to his time over walk-ins , no tipping required after every haircut, and Al being open to cutting your loved ones hair as well. Well every time I would get a haircut he would always say, "what do you usually tip $10?" and proceed to include in his pricing during charging. I really don't mind, but like I said, the service doesn't match the premium pricing. During my last haircut while edging my hairline he nixed my eye brow and instead of either apologizing or offering a discount or something he just played it off by saying - "you're lucky I don't charge you for it." Im all for jokes and all, but he's not and he's very upfront about not missing any appointments - because if you do he strongly imposes an $80 fee on you for missing the appointment and if you show any reluctancy to pay the fee, he aggressively threatens to simply terminate the membership. To avoid any arguing or anything, I paid and just finished the year. I won't go back. I don't believe his service is worth the premium price, however, your experience may be different.

This was my first time coming to Supreme Shave & Barber Emporium. Alfredo runs a great shop and he knows his business that’s for sure. Very welcoming and cool atmosphere and the cut was fantastic!

I got a shave with Alfredo (Al), he is not only a very experienced barber, but his conversation while shaving me was enlightening. If you are looking for a “cheap” shave, THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE! This is his craft, and he does it extremely well. I have had a beard for over 20 years and this is the first time a barber uses a free handed technique, not to mention that his foam was warm… it can’t get better than this. HIGHLY recommended.

I’ve been going to Al for at least 6 years now and have been a member since the beginning of the exclusive membership program. A novel concept at first but well worth it. I wouldn’t consider being a member anywhere else. Al is an experienced professional and provides exceptional services - from basic haircuts and beard trims/shaping to fades and full face straight blade shaves. The membership is an investment and provides you with exclusive access to preferred scheduling and locks in pricing for haircuts and beard trims.

This place is awesome! Al does great work and is the only person I trust with my hair. The membership is definitely worth it and has its advantages: cheaper prices (u will gradually get ur money back) for members and Al is more than willing to work with u. He will get u in even on a tight schedule. Waiting is rare: very little to no waiting since its done by appointment. And u will love the atmosphere, environment, ambience. Definitely the perfect place for men. U won't regret it

Absolute Best Barber, so glad I found Al at Supreme Shave. He has a super cool, old school, vintage barber shop atmosphere. He plays great music and he’s just a cool cat. He’s been perfecting his craft for over 40 years! Al has been grooming my beard since day one when I decided to embark on that journey. He has his own unique beard trimming methodology to help you look your best no matter what your beard goal is. Short, medium or long, he will trim it right , coach you along the way and keep you looking sharp. Same with haircuts as well. Great hours and two great locations, one in Sugar Land and one in Katy. I highly recommend the members club.

Al is a superb barber. I've been going to him for years in his Sugarland location (even as it's changed a couple of times) and today I tried out his Katy location. Well worth going out of your way for what is really the best men's haircut and beard trim in town. Trust me, I've tried some of the other newer shops that advertise a superior barbershop experience and none come anywhere close to Al.

Been going to Al for 4 years now, been a member with him for the last year....he’s like a fine wine that just keeps getting better with age, if thats even possible! Awesome shop, great music, but most importantly, Al can fade and trim beards like it’s nobodies business! I hear it about once a month from my wife...”it’s time to go back to Al”!

Found this place by accident today and it didn't look like a barbershop from the outside because of the tint. I gave it a try and man I was glad. Master barber is Al and he is a professional. I'll be honest they are pricey but they are different from others. He cuts my hair like he got all day for me. He doesn't rush. He goes back and forth until it is perfect and to make sure that I like it. Regarding about the place, very clean. It is very cool and classic. It brings the old barber style and I love it. It is a very relaxing place and Al was a very gentle barber. I hope that the service will always going to be like this when I come back.
