I have been going to Urban Barber Shop for over 5 years and Ross has been my main barber. He has great attention to detail and always listens carefully to what you want. He takes pride in his work and the haircut never feels rushed. His fades are always clean and he is extremely skilled with both clippers and shears. I also get beard services regularly and the same level of care and precision is always there. The entire staff is professional respectful and consistent. Appointments are handled properly and I have never had to wait past my scheduled booking time. The shop itself has a great atmosphere clean organized and welcoming. You can tell this place is well run. I have been going to barbershops for over 18 years and this has been the best experience overall. I recently started bringing my 6 year old son here as well and I am looking forward to many years of haircuts together at this shop. If you want high quality service and attention to detail Urban Barber Shop is the place to go.

Came to San Antonio for a family reunion and after looking up some of the barbershops around decided to check this one out because it looked a lot better. And I made the right choice. Great barbershop great costumer service! Eric took care of me awesome fade and straight lines and smooth skin shave with the hot towel definitely recommended.

I recently got a haircut here in Kerrville, and unfortunately, it was done completely wrong. The cut was uneven, not what I asked for, and I was even left with razor burn. With an important interview just two days away, I was stressed and needed someone skilled to fix it fast. After doing a lot of research, I came across this barber shop in San Antonio. I called and spoke with the owner, who immediately told me to come in. He explained that they have highly trained barbers and even trainers on hand to make sure every haircut meets their standard, knowing that gave me a lot of confidence. He set me up with Anthony, and I’m so glad he did. When I arrived, Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained exactly where the previous barber went wrong and how he planned to fix it. He even gave me tips on how my hair should be cut going forward. The result came out great. I left feeling confident, clean, and more prepared for my interview than ever. The environment was welcoming, the people were friendly, and the overall experience was top-tier. I highly recommend Anthony and the entire shop. I will definitely be returning. Anthony, thank you again. I did get the job, and I went into that interview feeling confident because of your work.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Urban City Barbershop – Jay is the real deal! I went in on Sunday, the 9th, and Jay took care of me with a clean low taper — honestly one of the best barbershop experiences I’ve ever had. He’s extremely knowledgeable, has great active listening skills, and really takes his time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Jay was patient, professional, and precise with every detail. He even recommended a hair product I had tried before and showed me the right way to use it again. That extra effort really stood out. If you’re looking for top-quality service and a barber who truly understands his craft, I 100% recommend Jay at Urban City Barbershop. Without a doubt, he deserves to be #1 in San Antonio for customer service and quality cuts.

This has to be the cleanest shop I have ever seen! I love the styling, and everyone was busy. As someone who has done it all with my hair, I'm down to barbers! But... I prefer a well seasoned barber who understands styling and who isn't afraid to work with a woman. I went in with an inspo Pic that was close to my own hair texture and style. He did an amazing job shaping me up while understanding what needs to grow out for the pic. I also got a quick razor on the eyebrows while there. I highly recommend this place, and Ramon has been there forever. I used the online appointment system and will be back.
