I struggled to make this review for a while because Nate is SO good that I worried I would never get in. He is the best I’ve EVER found in 4 states that will cut my hair, trim my beard, and make me look as handsome as he can. He is not just my barber, he is also my friend. I didn’t know him before coming here but he has become my great friend.

I’ve been going to Tophatters for years, and I can’t recommend it enough. When my son was younger, haircuts were a nightmare. He would scream and cry at other places, but Nate was the only person he trusted to cut his hair. Nate is incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. Because of him, what used to be a stressful experience became something we actually look forward to.

I set up an appointment for my husband who struggles with getting good shape and cut on his beard as it grows out straggly. He decided he wanted to try TopHatter’s and after the appointment he walked out and said “that was the best i have had”. We could tell how much Nathan loves not just his business but his art of barbering. He was very easy to talk to, did what my husband wanted but also gave his opinion on what he thought would be best and look good but ultimately left it up to you to decide on what you wanted. This place was a 10/10 and if we are ever back in town we will stop by again!

First things first, this is an old school limited staff barber. You're not getting hand massages or hair washes. What you are getting is superb service, and a great steady hand. Nate goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, and comfortable with the style decisions you make.

After 13 years of growing my beard and trying to take care of it myself, I finally decided to have it professionally shaped up. And man, Nate provided the best experience. His work is meticulous, the environment is very sanitary, and the atmosphere is relaxing yet engaging at the same time. I highly recommend Nate, especially if you're hesitant about having someone cut your beard. He'll do it exactly right. I've been going to Nate for a few months now. And the quality of his work has been superb every time.

I've been coming here for about a year and a half now. I don't really have a full beard so I went through quite a few other places before finding this place. Nate is very professional, knowledgeable, consistent and overall a cool dude that makes visits a pleasant experience. Not only does he always get me looking sharp but he's also explained how to work with what I have to make it look it's best and his advise has gotten my beard looking clean and fuller.

I just moved here, lucked out with finding a barber like Nate on my first attempt (you guys all know sometimes it takes a few tries to find a great match💇‍♂️💆🏼🪒) I’m picky as hell and kinda bitchy but Nate handled my cut like NOTHING. The man is seriously great at his craft (I mean just look at that classic barber cosplay, apron and all!) that’s why he’s always booked! Plan for your booking (Booksy) 1-2 weeks in advance ~ Thank you Nate for making me fabulous 🙋🏻‍♂️🤩！
