Pretty sure I found my new barbershop today. Got a great haircut and he (believe it was Rob) even used a straight razor on my neck. My grandpa was a barber and that was always my favorite part of the haircut. Seems to be a lost art. The inside of the shop is pretty nice. Loved the Craftsman tool chests and the layout of the shop. Thanks Update: Went in today and Summer cut my hair this time. Another great haircut. Would leave another 5 star review, but this will have to do. Thanks again Update 2/6/25: Went for a haircut today and this location seems to be closed permanently. Really too bad.

Insanely professional and fantastic shop!!! Stopped by for a quick cut by Rob. I had already had a pretty rough morning with work and told myself to go ahead and my cut out of the way today. Sat down in the chair and explained to him what I wanted, which he asked plenty of questions to be best suit my style. His demeanor and way he handles business is so relaxing and calming! I definitely fell asleep in the chair because I trusted that he would get me right. He’s efficient and pays great attention to detail. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and the atmosphere changed the whole vibe of my day. Thank you Rob!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a haircut and this thing is a disaster. As someone who takes how the hair looks seriously I am embarrassed. Half of the head looks like it was faded and the other half looks like it was just cut across like a bowl cut. I have had 6 different people point out how messed up it is. *Edit* I’ll take responsibility for not asking for a correction on the spot. Yet again if you couldn’t cut hair right the first time why trust for a correction? Imagine instead of taking ownership for a mistake you deflect. Pretty poor customer service. Recommend going to MJ Blade barbershop where they cut it right the first time.

Hello Brandon, I apologies for the experience you have had with your latest cut. I do want to point out that we give every one the opportunity to look at their haircut thoroughly before getting out of the chair. We as Barber/Stylist are used to criticism and rather you criticize the cut upfront while we have the opportunity to have every client to look and feel the best. This could've been corrected when you had the opportunity and we both wouldn't be embarrassed from the fact. Being that you tipped our Stylist $10 suggest to us that you were not only happy with the cut but also with the service provided. <br><br>However if you find the opportunity to come back in today or in the future, I personally as the manager am willing to correct the cut to your liking and will also offer some compensation to your future cut.<br><br>"UPDATE": Well Brandon, in response to your rebuttal, we took responsibility and even offered future compensation. As someone who takes their hair seriously as you say you do, didn't even bother looking at the cut and assumed it was good, then tipped the stylist well. Imagine going to a new Barbershop because this MJ shop did such a wonderful job that you didn't return, only to come to come to us so you can gripe with no consequence. Good luck to you and your assumptions of a perfect world.

This place has a great environment, feels very relaxed and is a great place to get your haircut. I had Lawrence and he does a good job asking questions throughout and making sure you're happy with what he's doing to your hair. He also does his best to make you feel relaxed and not rushed while cutting you hair even when he's running a little behind. Overall great experience and ambiance.

I have used this place many times before and never had an issue. But today I received the worst haircut of my life from tony . Not only did the he forget the kind of hair cut I asked for (mid bald fade) , but proceeded to give me a skin fade . On top of that my hair cut is crooked and I have small hairs that remained in random parts of my head.

This was my first time at this barber shop and I was extremely satisfied. Brian did an excellent job with my haircut. I have been using the same barber for the past 10 years so I was a bit nervous trying out a new place. After reading several reviews about this place, I made my appointment with Brian and hoped for the best. The experience I received proceeded my expectations by a mile. I am definitely now a regular customer after my first visit! Thanks again!

Walked in at 11 on a weekday and the owner Andy was there. This barbershop is awesome! So clean, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I’ve been to 5 or 6 different barbers around San Antonio including the chains and this one by far is the cleanliest with the best service. This was a great new idea grab a fresh cut while getting your car detailed, oh and free beer plus military discount!! Awesome experience will definitely be back.

My little brother recommended coming to this place today was the second time I’ve gone. Same high quality service. The shop itself is always clean. The workers always friendly and welcoming. They always give a good bye like if you’re part of the family. Sal does a great job is very knowledgeable on his craft. Next time for sure I’m going to have to listen to him and get that part in my hair. Anyways great atmosphere even better company will continue to go.
