Serg and Zephaniah were fantastic! I was a little skeptical at first but they gave me a really nice haircut and just what I needed. The powders were really nice and made my hair feel smooth.

I just got the worst haircut and shave by Serg or whatever his name may be. Dude has no experience and I’m pretty sure is not a barber. Has no common sense on line up or how to use a razor to line someone up. Best of all they charge tax on a service…

Barber: Charles Absolutely the best barber I’ve been to! He’s incredibly skilled, with a great eye for detail, and always cuts my hair exactly how I ask. You can tell he has plenty of experience, and his humble attitude makes every visit enjoyable. His consistent, top-notch service keeps me coming back. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

Sergio Was Amazing... I was skeptical at first as I've never visited this barber shop before but Sergio changed my whole perspective on this place. I went in for a simple shave and Sergio made it a great experience. He kept me smiling the whole time, was extremely easy to talk to, and made to sure to talk me through every step of the shave/facial he was doing. Once again, he was great and for sure my go-to guy for now on.

I do recommend this spot! Very close to UTSA, so I’d say it’s very convenient for students who don’t have the ability to drive to other shops, like myself. Shop was clean and service was top notch. Sergio gave me my cut and it looks fantastic. 35 dollars for a good looking cut AND good customer service? Definitely getting a 5 stars from me.

Unfortunately, this place hasn’t been the same since David left. Showed up for my appointment and the barber wasn’t there. I waited 15 minutes until the head barber said he would take care of me. While he was shaping my beard I could tell he didn’t really know what he was doing. My beard was unevenly shaped! It was so bad he knew not to charge me. The barbers there are extremely unprofessional. If you care about quality work don’t book with them.

If you’re looking for a new barber, Alena is the one! I don’t usually leave reviews but when it comes to personal grooming and trusting someone with what’s in my opinion, one of the most important parts of your appearance I have to give credit where credit is due. I recently followed Alena from her previous salon that was a little bit closer to where I live and if she was faced with having to relocate even further from me I will follow her wherever she goes. It’s rare that you find a stylist with skill like hers and also the respect to listen to what your needs and requests are as the client. So many times I have sat down in a chair and had the stylist take over and cut too much or go in a completely different direction than what was translated and agreed on. I recently had a hair transplant last year and my first haircuts afterwards were so important to me and my healing process. There are areas of my hair that can’t be touched, and some that can’t be cut too short or you risk showing my scars from surgery. Alena listened to what I had to say and made sure to give me a fire haircut while keeping in mind what my needs were and making sure to camouflage what needed to be blended and hidden. All that being said I feel her prices are very reasonable considering her skill level and the fact that she is also an incredibly nice and pleasant person to have a conversation with while your letting her transform you into the best version of yourself. Don’t miss the opportunity to become a client of hers you won’t regret it!

Alena is my barber here. I've been with her for about 4 months now. She doesn't rush me out of the chair and always kindly asks if i want to change anything before I leave. When I first started going to her she helped me find what cut and trim worked for me. Close to the college is a good location. They don't play any loud and "unfriendly" music, which is good for families.

This barbershop will take care of you and your hair. Staff was very nice and helpful when it came to signing in and choosing what to do with my hair. My appointment was a walk in since it was my first time there but they still got me on a chair in a fair amount of time. Kay Blends did an amazing job with my hair, I left looking good and feeling great.
