This is the best spot in the area to get a fresh cut. All the guys are great at what they do and super friendly. There’s always great conversations happening and everybody seems like an old friend. It feels like a barbershop should.

5 years in a row going to 1885. The shop location in downtown creates its own aura. Brick walls, music playing, and you may even catch a game. The barbers are always friendly and sociable. Mike does a fantastic job every time. It’s not the closest shop to us, far from it, but when you find your spot you don’t even think about the distance. Worth it!

May have great haircuts, but I will never know. Do not buy a gift certificate at this establishment, They actually expire. Says so right on the certificate. Yes my fault, but I have never sold or received a gift certificate from any other business that actually expires.

This is the only place me and little man will come. Been going to Mario for a while now and Mike the owner and the rest of the guys treat my son like family. Mario does the straight razor shave like he’s been doing it since the 50s. Amazing vibe in 1885! Definitely recommend them!

My husband and both kids get their hair cut by Mike. The cut and shave Mike does is fantastic. My husband loves the hot towels. He did the best undercuts for my daughter. The barbershop has a great vibe. Make sure you make an appointment.

Perfect old school downtown location. Parking is one way so you need to be coming from the right direction to park or walk across the street. We went on a week night afternoon and the downtown area was busy. The barber shop had an industrial feel with original barber chairs. The barbers were nice and carried on good conversation while working. Various options which are listed on their website. Check times for available appointment options. The barber my husband had helped clean up his previous cut and explained how to grow out his hair to his desires style. The hair products smell amazing.

What a great place. Great atmosphere in historic downtown Royse City. Never a rush job, these folks are hair artists and the finished product is proof. Haven't seen a barbershop like this in a very long time. They don't take reservations and they do accept cash or credit. Be sure to make the trip to this place, it'll be worth it.
