I can always count on getting a regulation haircut at East Gate Barbershop. They shave around the ears and back of neck. If you want, they'll take care of your eyebrows and ears too - just ask. They're reasonable, affordable, friendly, and provide great haircuts!

I’m just here for the comments. I use to get my haircut here years ago when Duff worked here. She is not a racist nor the people who come here. The people are very normal Americans proud of the country we live in.

Disclaimer: review is only for shorter military hairstyles. Although I’m confident she’s great at styling longer hair, I can’t speak to it. Renee is basically a one-woman shop. She’s nice and agreeable and easy to schedule or reschedule with. She doesn’t short change you on time or schedule a long lineup and keep you waiting. She budgets her schedule appropriately to give you exactly the haircut you want and really cares about doing a quality job at an incredibly reasonable value. Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance of her shop - she gives hands down the best value of service and will work really hard to make sure you like your haircut.

Thanks so much Alex! Thanks so much for all the kinds words...I really do try. You know getting here at 8 am and staying till 6 pm. I don't schedule a lunch...maybe I can work one in. Lol!! I do really try to make sure I stay on schedule for people I just never know what they have schedule after this so I try to be on time. Everyones time is valuable to me. So I try not to waste peoples time. Now as far as the appearance...I'm working on that with an electrician and plumber and they are not as good with my time as my customers are. But I'm working on that for sure and hope to be set up in the next room over soon. Praying for end of the year.

From my first day I walked in, Renee has been an awesome hair stylist. Providing me with a men's haircut that makes me feel....GREAT!! Renee has always been very curtious, and gets to know her clientele. There's always a pleasant conversation taking place which makes for a pleadant haircut.

I have been getting my hair cut at East Gate for over 18 years. The only time I ever go anywhere else is if I am out of town on business. Renee is a great barber and she is really a trip to get to know.

Renee is the best within a 50 mile radius of the base. Always flexible with appointments and most of all, a great custom hair cut. I have been going to see Renee at the East Gate Barbershop since they day she was there. I used to go get my hair cut with Renee when I was in town from both Ogden Utah, San Angelo Texas and Corpus Christi Texas. The best hair cut around. Best barber around. Love her and her cuts!

Great High and Tight military hair cuts, great lady Renee Brinson Owner. Military Family. Has a great following from the military at the Joint Navel Reserve Base Carswell. Very reasonable prices. The complete Barbershop has a lifetime military feeling of her husband "Gene" a 20 year plus Retired United States Air Force Man. I wouldn't have my hair cut any where else.

Best hair cut in town. Duffy and Renee are great. Currently working on upgrades and renovations. They now have a HUGE tv and large selection of movies. I have been going here for years. My children also get hair cut by Duffy and hes good a fun kid hair dos. Once he did all the boys colored hair. So cool. Don't believe all the rude reviews from dissatisfied customers. Probably was just a bad day for the lady.
