Joe cut it just as we agreed on, but I wanted it a bit shorter and he delivered. We had a good conversation, but it was quiet when it needed to be. I jokingly asked him to take a photo, as I wanted it the same way next time. He confidently responded "I won't forget." Something tells me he won't. The whole experience reminded me of the times, MANY moons ago (I'm 62), when my uncle cut my hair, except for the price lol. But it was very reasonable! I will be back!! Thank you Joe!

Took my son to get his first haircut and Mike helped us out. He was so good and quick, considering my son is 16 months old. Great experience, we will be back!

If you're tired of going to the ubiquitous trendy clips and cuts shops for a men's haircut where you cannot get the same person twice in a row, then it's time to go back to the traditional Barber shop. These two brothers are great. The cost is cheaper than most places. It's only men so you don't have to worry about offensive conversation or what pronouns to use.

I came here on a whim and it was a win. I had the pleasure of sitting in Joe’s chair on arrival. We had a great conversation about his career being a barber and where we’ve lived in our lives. He followed instructions perfectly and had a great attitude. On top of that he was quick as can be, a true embodiment of “slow is smooth, smooth is fast” the quickest cut I’ve ever had. I tipped him according to his quality of work and the entire experience. Furthermore he addressed some wayward ear hairs, eye brows, and performed a straight razor finishing shave on hair edges without even asking his experience showed. Fantastic service and a clean shop. Prices are very reasonable as well. Next time I’m in town I will stop in this shop to get a cut because of how good my experience was.

If you’re a man in Richmond and you’ve been wondering where all the real barber shops went, I’ve got great news for you: Pecan Grove Barber Shop is what you’ve been looking for! It’s the real deal, exactly what a barber shop should be. The guys here know what they’re doing, because they’ve been doing it for years. Be sure you bring cash, though - no cards or Apple Pay here.

Husband came here today and ask for me to leave a review for this place. He had his hair cut by Mike, he did an excellent job. He said the place was very clean and professional. That he was very attentive to detail. He would definitely come back even if we are from other side of town!
