Best hair cut in... well, since the last time I went to buddy's. Got a lot of compliments on his work. I recommend Buddy's to everyone, but make sure to book only with the eponymous Buddy of Buddy's Barbarshop.

Marisa is a great barber. She’s always given great service and haircuts. She’s my go-to whenever I need a haircut. I’ve never had a bad experience.

I understand that new staff members may need time to adjust, but my recent experience was disappointing. The barber lacked confidence in their skills, and was visibility shaking with the razor, moving at a snails pace resulting in ingrown hairs, and didn't have a reliable backup plan (the electric razors were out of charge), resulting in a subpar head shave that was so uneven I had to finish the job myself at home. While I've heard great things about the owner, the quality of service from other staff members reflects on the entire establishment. I won't be returning, but if you do decide to give it a try, make sure to book an appointment with the owner specifically.

Ask for Marisa. My husband has physical disabilities. She is the 1st barber who put his comfort above the easy to trim, cut, and style. She impressed me with her caring demeanor and precision skill set. ALTHOUGH, word of caution ⚠️ I do not recommend the younger male barber. My son-in-law had to go to another shop to have his haircut redone. The cut was absolutely unacceptable.

I got my beard cut from here and I only asked for a little trim. He said he understood and he started cutting almost all my beard. I was so upset and asked for a refund. Then he made me pay full price that was very expensive. As a man spending almost 55$. I was expecting a good trim with good customer service. But I got a horrible so called "trim" and horrible customer service. if you want to mess up your beard, pay a high price, and horrible customer service this a great place.

I recently visited Buddy's Barbershop in Richmond and had an excellent experience. I got a good beard trim and a great haircut with a nice fade. Buddy is friendly, knowledgeable, and highly professional. He does a great job listening to what you want, and with his years of experience, he nails it. I have 3 little boys and wasn’t happy with the kids place I had been going to. A couple friends recommended Buddy’s. They did a fantastic job cutting all my boys hair and they have the best toys! My kids love it there and we’re happy to have found a great place nearby! Sending my husband here next!

I’m an old school Barbershop guy. The shop I went to for over 20 years got all weird with Rona restrictions. Found another shop closer to the house. That shop closed unexpectedly. Posted on FB that I needed a new shop and received several recommendations for Buddy’s. I took my 8 year old son today. Buddy did a great job on him while Pres took care of me. Best haircut I’ve had in a long time. Shop was super clean. Barbers were very friendly. I’ve found a new home!

The best, plain and simple. Been going here since they opened and haven't had a bad cut yet. Great pricing, hot towel, razor for the beard, what now could you want in a barber shop. Took my 5 year old in for a cut today and he is about the most difficult customer a barber could deal with, after about 30 minutes if fighting both barbers and me, he had a decent looking cut. Highly recommend Buddy, you won't regret going here!
