I was traveling here and happened to visit Salon 9 for a haircut and hair coloring. They did a great job, the place was very clean, and the prices were reasonable. Everyone there was cheerful and friendly. Most importantly, it was very clean, so you can rest assured when you go to Salon 9 for your hair services.

My favorite barbershop! Always deliver consistent haircut, at a good price as well. I highly recommend this place (though please don't book on Sat, that's when I go to see Quang lol)

John is amazing. He cut my hair exactly as I asked. It came out better than I expected. Love my new look. I went from long hair to short hair. They even got my young daughter in for me. She loves her new look as well. I highly recommend Salon9. Great customer service from all the employees.

A good friend of mine took me here to get a haircut and the customer service was amazing... It's a very nice location, very professional and they got the job done with ease... I’m so glad I found this hidden gem in the heart of Richardson. As soon as I walked in John was welcoming and cognizant of my appointment time. I left his salon much much happier than I’ve ever been, he’s the only person who has been able to get me this light and this close to my hair goals in such a short amount of time. He is meticulous and definitely knows his stuff. I highly recommend this salon for your hair needs because I have been to many other places with exorbitant prices but never deliver. Salon9 has fair pricing and actually follow through to what they say they can do, which I highly appreciate. I cannot be happier with my silver tone. Loving it so much I can’t wait to go back and have him lighten it even more!!

John (Quan) is probably the most humble and meticulous hair dresser I’ve ever met. He took his time, even told me if he can’t achieve something based on experience versus over-promising, which is what I was accustomed to unfortunately. 😔 I have coarse Asian hair that has some coloring on already, purple, and I wanted to go to full silver/gray balayage. It took us a good 6 hours but I am so thrilled and happy with the results I must make this review right now! Okay folks, my last hair stylist was a master blonder, and after 5-6 sessions with her I still ended up with meh blonding results, not light or near where I wanted to go. I got fed up n dumped purple over it. Anyways, John was able to strip all that and lighten my hair to the lightest shade possible that you can do in one day (mind you, he used the strongest lightener known to man). My hair ended up NOT brittle or melted, it was perfect after toner was added and this ash is the closest I’ve ever been to silver!! I bet another session will take me exactly where I want. (Mad that I paid over $3k for 5-6 sessions previously with the master blonder and never got anywhere). In a nutshell, I highly recommend this salon. They are very respectful of everybody’s time and needs. They are super talented and too humble imo. I’m so glad I found this place and will continue to be a repeat customer and bring my friends/family here!

I decided to give this salon a try after I saw the reviews. I am so happy with my haircut! Best salon I have gone to so far in the area. I highly recommend John! He asked me throughout the process whether I was okay with the length and style. Very professional and friendly. Thank you!

I am so happy with the service I received at Salon9. I originally scheduled a haircut and decided while I was there to get my hair colored. They worked after hours to finish my hair and I've never been happier with my hair before. I will be back again very soon to upkeep my new style. Thank you so much Vick for your professionalism and artistic talent!
