First of all this shop is dirty. My boyfriend went in for a simple haircut and left extremely disappointed. The cut is noticeably uneven, especially on the sides, and one side is clearly shorter than the other. The fade isn’t blended at all and there are harsh lines that were never cleaned up. The top was cut way shorter than what he asked for, and it doesn’t sit evenly when styled.

I walked in with a backup plan, but wanted some guidance and help picking a style. Donald was all about it. He listened for a moment, and confidently put me onto a style he thought would fit me, and got right to work. I left looking and feeling lighter.

After going to the same barber for 15+ years, I was forced to look for a new one after moving to Texas. Doing some research on reviews and location, I came across Dapper Barber & Co and walked in without an appointment. I was met by Mariah who was available at the time. I was a bit skeptical at first as this is also a Barber Academy and she looked quite young but she reassured me that she had plenty of experience with different styles. After just one haircut, my skepticism turned into amazement as this was the best cut/beard style I ever received. Mariah was able to help me get my beard where I always wanted it to be despite my original barber saying it wasn't possible with the way my hair grows. Mariah has now been my only barber for nearly 4 years and I even bring my son, who she also does a fantastic job with. She truly takes her time, adjusts her style to your requests and works very hard to try and accommodate the times that you need. The shop is set up nicely with large spaces, free drinks, TVs, etc. The services and products used are super upscale. Even though I am loyal to my barber here, I can easily say that just observing over the years, that ANY barber at this shop would be a great recommendation.

I had been getting my hair cut by Maria for about two years and was always satisfied with her work. At my last appointment, there was a misunderstanding when I missed a message from her before the appointment. After the haircut, she told me she felt disrespected because of my response when she asked if I liked it and because of the tip amount. I said the cut was “cool,” and while my wife loved it (which is what matters most to me), that apparently came across differently than I intended. She also mentioned that she wasn’t happy with the tip I left, which I found unprofessional. I always pay $50 for my haircut, and I’ve been a consistent, respectful client for two years. It’s disappointing that things ended over something like that. Maria does good work, but professionalism and communication are important, and clients shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable over tipping expectations.

Donald is as good as they come. Best cut and experience I've had at a barber shop. The wife said I put her in heat after looking at me. I could not recommend this place enough.

Hao gave me a clean mid fade and my hair looks good. Chill dude, great attention to detail, and the shop has a good vibe. In and out with no hassle. If you’re in Plano, this is the spot to go. Definitely coming back!

Dapper is hands down one of the best barbers shops I’ve been to in Dallas! Everyone is so professional and gives top notch quality haircuts! They take their time to cut your hair to make sure it’s what you want and you walk out feeling like a million bucks! Highly recommended for anyone that wants a great haircut for a good price!

Want to get your hair massacred? Then this place is for you. I had a fairly long hair, it was to my nose and maybe below ears - enough room to work with. I asked to get my hair cut to “eyebrow level”; I showed picture of the haircut I want. Look at the pictures attached and decide for yourself whether you want to get a haircut at this place or not.

I took a chance as a walk in, and managed to get a cut with Blaze. I’m super happy with my hair cut & style, his attention to detail, incredible hygiene (from client to client, and during) and the general banter with him. You can’t find a nicer guy. And the place itself is beautifully decorated with eclectic touches. I’m happy with this place, and I’d go back in a flash if it wasn’t for the fact I’m visiting from Toronto.

Had no appointment. Sat for about an hour and half before they could get to me, so for your sanity book an appointment online. Zach was able to get me taken care of, saw me as soon as he was done with his clients. Did a great job getting me cleaned up. He spent a good hour or so getting me looking sharp. Gave him carte blanche on getting me looking right. Trimmed up the beard, cleaned up the neck, ears, and eyebrows. Finished with a nice short shoulder rub. The shop is clean and nice with very nice rustic decor. They have drinks and other libations. Will be visiting again. Overall very happy with the experience.
