Yes, this Barber shop is really dirty, paying cash that's illegal. I'm very surprised that the ratings are that high because the reviews are horrifying.

We moved to the area about 5 years ago. I looked around for about 2 years trying to find the right person to cut my hair. I tried several of the new "strip-mall" shops, who hire a revolving door of haircutters right out of school. Let's just say getting a haircut at one of them was always a unique experience! Then I stumbled onto the Elite Barber Shop. For the past 3 years Ann has cut my hair. She does it consistently and just the way I want it. She doesn't rush and goes back over her work to make sure that she doesn't miss anything. It's great to have someone who knows what they are doing, remembers me and remembers my hair. I'd give her six stars if I could!

For the past twenty five years, only one barber has had the privilege of cutting my delightfully ambitious head of hair. That barber is JD Edwards and his crew. His shops are among the best in the business. The atmosphere is what I appreciate most, along with good staff and customer service. My hair style is fairly basic now - I prefer the good ol' crew cut. Once we get all the new age barbers tuned up on exactly what that is, we are good. Nobody tries harder to make the barber shop a place we enjoy visiting more than JD and his crew. Well worth the visit. I'll be there today, in fact.

Terrible with kids! One guy jerked my son’s head around several times causing neck pain. A woman scraped my other son’s neck causing it to bleed! Awful! Also, they only take cash. So very outdated.

This review is fake! We have no "guys" at this shop. Also cash only is very common in traditional mom and pop Barber shops. Outdated?!?! Yes , and we intend to keep it that way as our patrons enjoy our "old school" look and approach. Sorry we were not the right shop for you, if you were really even ever there? We have not had any "guy" barbers for sometime! <br>(The management)

Giving 1 star because I have to. The women seem very rude. They look disheveled. For someone offering a service as such, you should present yourself a little better. Kind of makes you feel weary of getting services done. One of them (Gothic edgy one) were curled up in a ball taking a cat nap on the chair right by the front door. Totally unprofessional. When someone approached the door, another lady alerted her and she got up and gave them a haircut. One of them charged me $45 for my daughters haircut while I heard the other lady say to her friend it was no charge for the day. She did a TERRIBLE job. She didnt know what she was doing. She didnt even layer her hair, couldnt even cut simple bangs. I could tell just by watching this girl has little experience. There's wires laying around everywhere, the place is a fire hazard. No fire extinguisher in sight! Dust and dirt everywhere!! We won't be returning.

Wow! Sorry if we ruffled your feathers! You say you heard the other lady say: "There was no charge for the day!?!" No, we are making a living and cannot give away our services! Lol. You say: "she has little experience!" No, each barber among my staff have plenty of experience. We have never hired right out of barber school. You say: "There's wires laying around everywhere!" I'm sorry but tools that barbers use are electric and require cords. Lather machines, blow dryers, towel steamers, several different clippers for each barber, etc..etc... all require electric cords, sorry. No, our shop is NOT a fire hazard, and in accordance with the law, we HAVE a fire extinguisher in the rear area of the shop! You say: "dirt everywhere!!" Lol. I don't think so. If it were as you described, I doubt we would have the great high rating we do! Sorry we just werent the right place for you! (Management)

I was passing through and decided to stop to get a beard trim. I was pleasantly surprised that they use a straight razor and my barber Brandi did a great job. She definitely has a ton of experience. If I lived in town I would come back for a proper shave. I would recommend the elite barbershop to anyone looking for a no-frills haircut or a proper straight razor shave at reasonable prices.

Lucy was able to see me as a walk-in as soon as I arrived on a Saturday. She was great company while providing me the first bald fade I’ve actually liked in the past two years. Definitely coming back to see them 👍🏻

Sydney is the best barber I’ve had. I don’t trust others to do my hair so I was of course nervous but I absolutely am in love with it. We talked about everything with options to cuts. She’s extremely kind and fun to talk to. It’s a beautiful antique old school barbershop and extremely comfortable.

Terrible place to get a haircut went in today Chinese/Asian worker I think her name was Ann gave me the fastest hair cut in my life and she cut me as well. Asked for a medium bald fade walked out looking like Shrek. Will never return in my existence but I do give them props for using massage guns. Over all if you don't care about a haircut then this is a place to go as for me I had to go get my haircut fixed elsewhere!!!! Spent double the time and money!!!!!!
