Hands down the best Floyd’s in Dallas. The manager here is the real deal kind, upbeat, and relatable. She’s heading out on a mission trip soon, and you can feel that same heart in the way she runs the shop. The place is welcoming, the vibe is fun, and my haircut was spot‑on. I’ve been to a few Floyd’s around town, but this one felt like home the second I walked in.

I walked in expecting to get a good haircut from the recommendations from a friends, but I just came out with a horrible haircut. What I wanted was a short layered wolf cut and what I got was some botched bob cut I don’t even know what it is. I had the appointment and 9am and she came in late, and she didn’t seem like she was in a good mood either. Which is fair but I did my best to explain what I wanted but I got nothing of what I asked for and I also asked for a trim for my bangs and now they are uneven. 0/10 >:(

My husband is in a wheelchair. This place is very assessable for handicap and honestly Steven gives the best haircut in record timing! Very impressed with the haircut and service!

The scheduling process here is quite poor. I have a scheduled appointment every two weeks. I receive text messages indicating that my haircut is scheduled for the following day. However, when I arrive the next day, I am informed that my appointment has been canceled because the stylist who usually cuts my hair is unavailable today, and I am simply told sorry. This was the third time it’s happen. There is no effort made to rectify the situation by having someone else assist me. While Erica provides excellent haircuts, the service at the front desk is just terrible.

It was my first time at Floyd’s and I was very pleased. Great atmosphere and Carla was great. She listened to me and understood what I wanted. I will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

Gynesis is amazing. My son is very picky and it has been difficult to find a reliable barber. Since going to Floyds he has been very happy and now looks forward to his hair cut. She does an amazing job and is great at the current style for teenage boys. I also get a beard taper and fade and she does a great job on my cut too. Very versatile, listens to what you want, and does a great job every time!

Janet at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Murphy has been my go-to barber for over a decade. I first found her at a nearby Floyd’s location, and after a couple of years, she moved to the Murphy location, which is now nearly 20 miles away. Sure, it’s a 30-minute drive, and I probably pass by over 50 other salons on my way there—not to mention the $10 tolls—but I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Janet consistently provides exceptional service. She takes the time to listen to what I want and always delivers results that exceed my expectations. She’s not only skilled but also has a great sense of humor, making each visit enjoyable. Even with less hair than I had a decade ago, I know the hair I have left is in good hands. The drive and the cost are totally worth it. Highly recommend her!

Didn't appreciate being told that my 10 year old son's hair would be 23.00 over the phone but when I got there and they finished the cut they told me oh because he go a "skin fade" the price was higher. What kind of bait and switch is that....They charged me 40.00 for a mediocre fade that took the guy a long time to do. No ill wishes to the stylest at all but the shop really dropped the ball on the price. Just my opinion. Also I had an appointment but walkins were getting seated and cut before my kid like what is the point of an appointment lol. We were scheduled for 5 and my son didn't get a barber until closer to 6 and we were there until about 7ish lol smh.

Took both my kids here for their cuts. We go to Mo, only man I’ve seen there. He’s awesome w the kids and always gives them a proper cut that fits their personalities. The ambiance is rock and roll here. Love! Great vibe and definitely practicing social distancing with chairs pulled apart and away. Super clean! We made an appointment and we waited 30 mins still. I wish they would’ve called and told me so that I fed my kids first. Small touches like that can definitely improve the clients experience and make our time feel valued. But I understand they’re new so I won’t hold it against them. I hope it never happens again (not informing us that there’s a long wait and having us sit and wait...with two kids; it’s definitely hard). We will definitely be back. We been to every shop in Murphy and Mo is by far the best my kids has had!
