Erica was my husband barber and she did an exceptional job!! 12/10 Worth the drive. The atmosphere was very welcoming. So excited for the new chapter!

I’ve been a loyal customer at Vintage Barber Shop for years, and the staff has always been professional and courteous. On the rare occasion an issue comes up, they address it quickly and respectfully. I’ll continue getting my hair cut there and highly recommend Vintage Barber Shop to friends and family.

Nice looking shop BUT I booked an appointment with Sean for $45 (haircut and beard trim). I got there, sat there for maybe 5 minutes. Sean was with a customer and they called my name and I was put in a chair and a female named Erica greeted me. I’m annoyed at this point because I booked an appointment with Sean…. The haircut was fine. Then I go to pay and it said $57 dollars. I didn’t say anything because I don’t want to be confrontational. Left a $5 tip. Sent the barbershop a message on messenger and it took several days for a response. They responded with since it was your first time and Sean was running behind we wanted you to be taken care of on time. I wasn’t asked if I wanted to wait for Sean or if it was okay that id be taken care of by someone else…. I then expressed my concern about the price. They said there is a $2 service fee for using a credit card, a haircut and beard trim is $50 which in fact is FALSE! I sent a screenshot of the website and it said haircut and beard trim is $45. Since she used an electric razor on the sides it was an additional $5 which in the state of Texas you legally have to tell the customer if there is an up charge which she didn’t. So not only did I not get who I booked, I got over charged for a just okay haircut I could have gotten somewhere else for less money and I have a list of places I could have gone for less money and the same result of haircut or better. Legendz in Arlington. Golden scissors in Arlington. Starks barbershop in Arlington. So many options. Needless to say after expressing my concern with a screenshot of the service and price that I booked I didn’t get a response from them. That’s really poor customer service. Never going back nor will I ever suggest this place!

Hello. We are sorry that you had a bad experience. That is never our goal. We tried to speak with you over messenger when you contacted us. In reply to our explanation you were rude and stated very plainly you were not coming back. Not sure what else we are supposed to say to you after that. That’s why there was no response the second time. Our prices are listed on our website very plainly. Being a new customer, you simply booked the wrong service for what you actually wanted. It happens. That’s why it was more expensive than you thought it would be. Haircut/beard trim is a regular haircut/regular beard trim. That does not include razor work. You got a bald fade and a beard trim with the razor. The more you get, the more you pay. Just like any other business. Once again, all the pricing is right there on the website. Electric razor bald fade (which is the service you received) is $40. As listed. Beard trim with razor (the other service you received) is $25. As listed. That is $65 total. But because you did them together we discounted your final price by $10. Which would be $55. In no way did we cheat you or try to secretly add fees. It was simply a misunderstanding on your part. Which we would have gladly explained if you had asked. We pride ourselves on our customer service. As you can see from most all of our other reviews. You were put with Erica, who is very talented and has been cutting hair for 13 years, because the person you reserved was running behind and she was open and more than capable of doing your services. Which she did and did it well. We thought by doing that, making sure you were taken on time and given what you asked for, was us giving good customer service. I’m sorry you disagree with that. Me and my family have been coming here for years. Maybe 10+ years. I came in for a buzz cut 05/22/25 and Boston Nick was my barber. I cannot recommend him enough, he is patient, kind, hard working, and can always relate to you in some way. I feel as if the personal connection he finds with clients is always the best. He gave me a quick and detailed buzz cut. I loved the fade. and recommended what was best for my hair type. I had super bleached, long, thin hair. And he made sure to understand what I wanted with my hair and made it happen. If you want a mens cut go to the one and only Boston Nick!

Tiffany does a great job, every time. I used to dread getting a haircut because the results would vary and it's hard to find someone who consistently cuts my hair the way I like it. Tiffany has been cutting my hair for the last 6 months or so and I know every time I'm going to get the same great cut. Highly recommended!

Every single person at this establishment is a pleasure to be around. The atmosphere is a fun, family like experience. The jokes are great. Every time I walk out of there, my head is held a little higher. I feel very confident that I'm sporting a fresh, clean look. The prices are more than fair for the quality of work they do. You'll have to take my word for haircuts because I'm bald, but all of the cuts I see them give look great. I go for my beard and leave with EXACTLY what I ask for every time. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Best barber shop I've ever visited.

Kendra did a great job on my sons hair. He had been wanting a fade and we couldn’t find a spot that could do it right. He is walking around with a whole bunch of confidence already. Super clean, well kept place with really down to earth barbers. Huge fan of their “back in the day” music choices as well 👏 . We will definitely be returning.

Can’t go wrong at Vintage Barbershop!! Only advise … book ahead! Their appointments fill up fast and it’s hard to get walk in service, since they are busy … which only confirms how great the staff are here! And Penni does a really good job! Haircuts, beard and even kid’s cuts!!

Hands down, THE best haircuts I've ever had. Penny, Holly and the rest of the staff and the nicest people in the biz. Go more than once and they'll greet you by name. Every time I walk in I feel like Norm from Cheers. Cannot recommend this place enough.
