Got my haircut here and the entire staff was nothing but nice and professional. 10 out of 10 would reccomend. Thank you all for your continued effort to keep an amazing atmosphere and and even better haircut!

Dedric (the owner) just lost a regular. My husband has been coming to this place for the last 6 years. We recently went, but this time we booked an appointment for our son too. The whole time he gives u a bad attitude always seems to be in a rush to get people out you would think that for the price you pay, you would at least get decent service. Please reconsider booking here ESPECIALLY for your little ones. My son has never cried so much in his entire life.

While I appreciate all feedback, I also believe in addressing things truthfully I take pride in how I treat every client—especially the little ones and there was no attitude or rush involved during your son service.<br><br>You brought your one year old for his first haircut—an age where movement, fussing, and crying are completely normal. I exercised extra patience, even letting him explore clippers and tools from my station to ease his nerves. Your husband was calm and cooperative doing what he could to help keep your son still, which is crucial for safety and a clean cut.<br><br>The situation only escalated when you yelled at your husband mid cut, then snatched the child out of the chair while I was still working— something that can easily lead to an accidental nick or unfinished work. After that I calmly asked if you were sure you didn’t want me to finish you both clearly stated “no not now he’s a little out of control right now” That was your choice, not mine. Your husband still proceeded to get his cut. <br><br>To say your son has “never cried so much in his life” feels more like an emotional reach than a reflection of reality. He’s one. He cried. That happens. It wasn’t <br>mistreatment— It was a first haircut with first time parent nerves layered on top.<br><br>At Scissorhands Barbershop I treat every client big or small with respect, patience, and care. What I don’t do is entertain false claims for dramatic effect. Amazing place to get a haircut. Truly a professional and great experienced. Liz and the other barbers are friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re looking to treat yourself and take care of your own self-experience you have to get a hot-towel shave!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this needs to be said. As a regular customer at Scissorhands Barbershop, I’ve repeatedly witnessed unprofessional behavior from the owner, including talking negatively about his own barbers to customers—myself included. That kind of environment is toxic, disrespectful, and reflects poorly on the business as a whole. To be clear: No, this is NOT Tyrone or any of the barbers writing this review. I’m just a customer who’s experienced the service and seen how they’re treated. What’s frustrating is that the barbers at Scissorhands—especially Tyrone—are extremely talented. Tyrone in particular gives real consultations, listens, and executes every cut with precision and care. But he’s not the only one putting in quality work. Several of the barbers here are skilled, professional, and dedicated to their craft, even under poor leadership. They deserve better. They deserve a shop where they’re respected, supported, and talked up—not talked down. If you’re thinking about going to Scissorhands, book with Tyrone or any of the hardworking barbers there—just know they’re working in a place that doesn’t seem to fully appreciate them. And don’t be surprised if the best of them move on to a healthier, more supportive environment soon.

Loved the fact that Tyrone asked my wife if she wanted a masculine or feminine edge up. He might be called the Old Skool The Barber but he is Woke, socially aware, and accepts and respects diversity. Thanks,Tyrone. I'm going to come find you where ever you may go next. Much Respect!

Our first time here. We took our grandson. Old School was our barber. He was very interactive with our grandson. We enjoyed our experience very much and will be back. I would highly recommend anyone here. As we were waiting we watched each barber and everyone’s work was very clean. Each person spoke to us while we were there as well. The shop was very clean.

Best barbershop in League City. Make sure you book your appointment because Dedric and his team get busy. My husband and 3 boys come here every time they need a haircut. I think the price is worth the quality. My boys love getting their haircuts because they know how nice it will look. My 3 boys have mixed curly hair and Dedric and his team know how to cut it and shape it correctly. ❤️

This place is a joke !!! THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND THE MOST OVER CHARGED HAIRCUT. Does this barber even have a license to cut hair? He was beating his clippers on my head I’m pretty sure that’s not normal!! I was able to somehow cope with it to stay positive. When I came home realized he didn’t even finish the hair cut!!! How do you let someone leave with only one side cut???

Took my son to get a haircut at Scissorhands Barber shop and had a FABULOUS experience. All of the staff was very welcoming! Jojo cut my sons hair and it looks better than anywhere I have ever taken him!!! Not only is he thorough he is very friendly and kind!
