Being a licensed barber myself who learned from the masters finding an old school barbershop where you can get a flattop and a straight razor shave is a challenge today but no more! Wade gave me the perfect USMC horseshoe flattop and Robbie gave me a straight razor shave that has few equals. Wade’s Northpark Barbershop is in a league of its own.

I’ve been cutting/shaving my own hair for around 30 years. I decided it was time to let a pro do it for once. I’m not familiar with barbershops and I took a gamble on this place because they were in the neighborhood. The place is cool. Laid back atmosphere with great folks and great service. I went in for a simple fade and clean up. It was super fast. This is a great no BS barbershop. Will be back.

First time ever visiting this establishment and I’ve lived here off and on for thirty three years. Didn’t know it existed. I was tired of paying north of sixty bucks for a hair cut and beard trim. Someone had recommended this place to me so I decided to try it out. Not only am I thrilled with the hair cut but the price is phenomenal. Will definitely be returning.

Wade is absolutely phenomenal. Me, my wife, and my son all three use him and, as he says, “every time [we] come in, we experiment!” He’s cut designs for us, gave me an amazing high and tight pompadour, gave my wife an undercut. There’s nothing this man cannot do with a set of cutters. Will not go to anyone else until he retires, and even then I might try to convince him.

Wade is a great barber. Has been cutting my hair for over 25 years and gets it right every time. Atmosphere is friendly and is always a great experience. You want a high and tight done right, Wade's your guy!

I've been going to Wade since I was extremely young (can't remember an exact age) and now I'm almost 24 and he hasn't lost his magic touch in the art of haircutting even a little bit! In fact he's improved! Extremely nice and professional staff with lots of decor, magazines and tv to keep you entertained while you wait. As long as this place is in business then I'll keep coming back. -Clint Purcell

Great local barber shop. Wade always takes good care of me. I was hesitant to have my beard trimmed by a barber, but he did a great job. Usually quick in and out. The old Astrodome seats in the waiting area are a great touch! Love this place! Go get your ears lowered. You won't regret it.

The staff at Northpark Barber Shop are all friendly and make you feel like your part of the family. I've been getting my hair cut there since I moved here in 2006 and have only had it cut by a couple others since, each timing vowing to myself to never wander again. They always do a great job!! Northpark Barber Shop is the only place for me.

If you are looking for a great place to get you or sons hair cut this is the place for you. The staff is wonderful and the environment is like you went over to your sisters house to get your shag trimmed. The shop is clean and presently decorated. They are popular and it's mostly walk in first come first serve so a wait is expected on a Saturday morning, but presently short. My haircut was even, neat, and exactly as I asked it to be. 5 stars from this happy customer.
