My son got a haircut from a barber at this establishment named @blessedbarber. During the service he cut him across the length of his neck. This then turned into a scar. The barber only wanted to provide a discounted cut and not a free haircut to rectify the damages. Even stated that he did not feel that what he did was a situation that he could prevent in the future. After speaking with him and how unprofessional he is I am urging parents to not use this establishment for haircuts for their children. Not only are they negligent they are vindictive. His free cut to make amends was done carelessly and without the usual care that he did previously. Hair was not curled or styled using normal products.

Ricco has cut my son’s hair for 6 years. The attention to detail was crazy , every fade, every line, everything was on point. You can tell Ricco really care about his craft, not just getting you in and out. The vibe was professional but chill, and he actually listened to what I wanted instead of rushing. If you want someone who takes pride in their work and makes sure you leave looking your best, this is the spot.

I absolutely love this barbershop. I have brought my son here twice for a cut. Each time has been such a great experience, but this recent time really warmed my heart. My son has sensory issues with hair touching his neck. He gets really fussy about it but the barber was an expert at both keeping him distracted with jokes and talking, and also respecting his needs. Anytime my son would mention his neck being itchy he would immediately blow the hair off with the little machine blower and keep joking with him to keep him distracted. The quality of the work was amazing as well. He took his time making sure it all looked good, and periodically asking me if I liked what had been done so far. The barber’s name is Bless the Barber, and I definitely highly recommend him specifically, as well as this barbershop as a whole. My son’s been getting non stop compliments since he got his cut 🥰🥰🥰

Hello, My husband visited on 12/13, and I brought my son on 12/14. They both washed their hair afterward, but a few days later, they both developed barber's itch. They were each cut by different barbers, so I feel it's important to emphasize the need for better sanitization of equipment and tools. This was really disappointing as this location was recommended by a few of my neighbors. Additionally, if you're not familiar with a specific hairstyle or cut, please refrain from attempting it. My son asked for a French crop, but the result was far from it. While I’m not one to cause a scene, I did thank the barber and tipped him, but the cut was noticeably uneven and not at all what he requested. We had to go to another barber to have it fixed. I'm giving two stars because the staff was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, both of my guys ended up with folliculitis, and that’s a major issue for us. Justin (Millennial Cuts) has been cutting my hair since August 2019 & I won’t trust another person for a haircut! He takes his time with every single service & always provides the best care. He’s gotten me right for every Homecoming, Prom, Graduation, Weddings, and Birthdays. Every time I go in I feel welcomed by not only Justin, but every Barber of Houston 55. If you’re not getting a cut done at Houston 55, especially with Justin, you got to get it together!

Started coming here for my son for about 1 year now. Great service. Lionel takes good care of my son. He is patient, punctual, and have superb barber skills. He definitely takes pride in servicing his customers. I've been to atleast 8 barbers before finding Houston 55. As a woman, I always dreaded going into barbershops because of some unprofessional behaviors by the men, but I must say, here, everyone is professional. Best decision I made❤️

It's always hard finding a good reliable barber, but this shop is full of them. Good people, nice atmosphere and skilled barbers. Omar does great work and gets me right every time. I usually get a high fade, but asked Omar if he could do some sort of design for a breast cancer awareness benefit I was attending. He killed it on the spot! Even on such short notice! Best barbershop in the Katy area hands down!

K has been my son's barber for almost 4 years. I keep returning bc I have 0 complaints about his skill, the atmosphere, timeliness, cleanliness, or his products. All of that matters and mattered when I was searching for a barber for my son. Thanks for getting him right once again. These pics were taken the next morning...So many compliments within hours of us leaving though. 😊
