I usually pay anywhere from $45-$50 for a skin face every couple weeks and the one I just got from Steve blew those out of the water. Highly recommend.

King Hightower did an amazing job giving a zero degree cut. I also did a wash and dry which he took his time to make sure it looked great before I left. My hair actually has some body to it again. I'll definitely go back to him

I arrived at 3:19PM and was told last time I was there they stop taking cuts at 3:30. The instructor this time said they stop at 3:15 - very irritating. Several student barbers were just sitting around so there were plenty of student barbers. The instructor said a cut might take an hour which is still well within a normal school or work day. I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

Hello Mike and thank you for taking the time to review our institution. I apologize that you had a less than stellar experience with us today, but unfortunately there are, at times, circumstances beyond our control. <br>To give your review a bit of context, not every student you see on the clinic floor is released to perform services on the public. So while you did see students who appeared to be "sitting around", they are not authorized to work on people yet. I'm sure you can appreciate that we didn't assign you a student lacking the adequate skills to give you a safe and quality haircut. The few students that we did have performing services already had clients and an additional service would have taken them beyond 4pm to complete. <br>We maintain a 3:30pm cut-off for walk-ins to guarantee that our students can leave at their scheduled time of 4pm. This is so they may attend to their after-school jobs. The instructor informing you that the service could take an hour was attempting to explain this issue to you, I apologize if this was unclear. We encourage you to make an appointment to guarantee availability or you may call to inquire about availability prior to arriving for a walk-in, which are always handled on a first-come-first-served basis. <br>I can see in our system that you have been to our institution 6 times between 4/17/24 and 9/27/24, and even left us a 5-star review on 7/1/24. Super clean. Amazing staff. Everyone very VERY helpful. And I had Shon. He was beyond thorough with my cut and shave. I have long hair but get the bottom half of my hair faded. He was sure to be careful to not cut my long hair or nick it. The shave was precise and he took his time with the details. This will be my permanent place to get haircuts until further notice! I observed the other students cutting and everyone was very precise so even if you don’t get Shon you will for sure be in good hands

Kenneth did great fast cut. His instructor watching his every move giving him pointers. Having been to a barber in years since last one left me with a real bad experience. Kenneth reminding me what going to a good barber is like.

If your looking for a good hair cut and don't mind it taking a while give this place a try your first cut if free. My only gripe was it took a wile but that's to be expected since it is a school. The environment these guy make is incredible super funny guys and very laid back. The guy who cut my hair shon haven't cut hair as long as mine before, however he did an excellent job.

Shon was welcoming right from the start. He took great care to make me feel welcomed and gave me an excellent cut! Everyone in the shop was fun to be around and supported each other. Plenty of picking on each other too! Thanks to Shon and the team.

This place is awesome, friendly students, and an amazing teaching staff. Did an amazing transformation on me that most of my normal customers would ask me where seth is lol. Marc did a great job on my hair that even my own daughter didn’t recognize me, mainly because she has never seen me without a beard and long hair.

The best place to learn! I’ve earned an entire new family by being here. Brighton Barber Institute has been one of the best decisions of my life. 10/10 learning experience. I came in knowing nothing about hair, skin, color etc and at 75% completion I feel very confident in my new chosen career.
