This barber in the first chair when you first walk in to the right cannot cut at all. I did not realize there is huge language barrier too when I got here. From the moment he started to cut he looked very nervous to use his clippers but I give him benefit of the doubt. I can't speak for the entire shop but for this specific barber... DONT DO IT!! It looks like the barber put a bowl on his head to cut. There used to be real good barbers here in the past.

Being in the military so long, I became very picky about my hair - especially the fade. I was going to Tune ups forever but they're kind of expensive and I didn't ever have the time to wait in such a long line for a simple cut and fade. That was until i found this place. Corina is way better than any person I've had anywhere else and she's faster and more fairly priced. I won't go anywhere else.

I recommended this place to my husband after I took my sons there and they got decent haircuts. My husband had a different experience though. His haircut was just ok and even if the haircut was great, we would not be returning due to the fact that he was bleeding all over the front and back of his neck. He mentioned the women who cut his hair was clearly in a hurry and carelessly rushed with the straight razor. Needless to say we will never return.

I am the owner of The shop and also the guy who cut your kids hair good enough for you to recommend your husband to start going. I apologize for his tragic experience. The employee you referenced in your review has been let go. I invite you to encourage your husband to visit my shop again and let me cut his hair myself. I am in 6 days a week and he is welcome to call ahead and I will personally do his cut. Once again I apologize for the cut he received.

Wasn't completely satisfied with my normal cut I get. Not sure the lady who did it but I'm accustomed to getting a razor cut on my neck and sides but didn't get that this time. No big deal. I will come back because the cuts are normally top notch and it has the old barbershop feel. Compared to some of the competitors who just want to talk about negative politics and other bs all the time. Thanks for keeping it about business and small talk. Great service all the time.

Walked in and was welcomed, Not a long wait at all, Owner had a real strong sense of urgency, Really fast cut, let alone a really nice cut better than most or even all barbers ive been too. Very professional and cares about customer service. Definitely found my new barber and highly recommend.

Well one out of two of my kids came out with a great cut! Jason did an amazing job on one of my boys, he really took his time and knew exactly what he was doing. The other guy I didn't catch his name was quite different and completely screwed up my son's hair but I don't think he knew how to do what we were looking for and I wish he could have been up front about that especially for a $17 haircut!!

My name is Jason, the guy who cut one of your boy's hair. I spoke to Mike to be sure that I was correct about which customer you were. We both remembered your visit to my shop. I asked my employee to explain his side of the story and I listened. There are a few things that concern me about your review. For starters, I do always strive to provide any customer a great haircut in my business rather the service is provided by myself or one of my employees. I do wish the final product was more to your liking. Now that I have expressed that I want to discuss your behavior in my place of business and also your children's behavior. I witnessed extremely unruly behavior in my place of business from your children. You allowed your children to literally run circles throughout my shop and scream at the top of their lungs while doing this. You also allowed your children to run behind and around my employee while he was trying to cut your son's hair. Another thing you allowed was your children to jump on my equipment, jerk handles, spin empty chairs, jump on the shampoo station, and lastly you allowed your kids to try yanking the headrest out of my chairs. All of this happened while you sat on your phone without saying a word, without acknowledging your children's disruptive behavior, oblivious to the screaming, blind to the nonstop running, and the destruction they attempted on my shop equipment. The entire shop was waiting for you to put your phone down and be a parent. You brought your children into a public business and allowed them to behave in extremely disruptive ways while you refused to intervene and you subjected everyone in my place of business to the results of your lack of parenting. I am generally over and beyond patient when it relates to children. I love kids and I understand every child has their days of hyperness, moodiness, quietness, sadness, etc. I always attempt to work with each and every child on a personal level with my full attention to their current mood. The parents who visit my shop will be the first to tell you how hard I try with children. But, when it came to your children's behavior in my shop, I literally had to say"Mam" to you SEVERAL TIMES to get you to look up from your phone so I could ask you to have your kids take a seat and stop tearing my equipment up. I had to ask you to parent your children while in my shop. You showed complete and utter disregard for your children's extremely disruptive behavior just as long as you could enjoy doing whatever you were doing on your phone. Your lack of effort to look up from your phone and parent your children created a high anxiety situation where Mike was trying his best while your children ran circles through his work station screaming and the child in his chair couldn't sit still because he wanted to jump out of the chair and join the party. So my suggestion if you truly want your children to have nice haircuts is this, prepare yourself to put your phone down and ACTIVELY parent your children and not allow them to completely disrupt the environment and be destructive. Put your phone down and give your children your attention. And work with myself or my employees to help keep your child calm and focused and sitting still in the chair so we can perform our best service. Your parental cooperation actually makes a difference! Lastly, after witnessing you not pay any attention to your children, and not at all use your voice to help the situation, I am confused as to why you would leave my shop and choose to make the effort to write a negative review on my business. You sat in my shop and flat out refused to use your voice to parent your children, then when I finally had enough and used my voice to get your attention and require you to set your phone down and ACTIVELY parent your children you looked frustrated, and now after all the chances to speak up and maintain parental control or work with my employee...the only time you speak up is to write a negative review?!

I’ve been coming to The Atascocita Barbershop for about 3 months now. Jason is a great guy that goes above and beyond for his customers. I always leave there looking fresh. He takes his time, we always have great conversations and he makes sure you are completely satisfied. I definitely recommend. 💯

Good hair cut, excellent service and reasonable prices. All the staff are friendly and cut your hair the way You want it. And as is with a good old fashion barber shop, you catch up on politics and the latest local news of who's doing who, etc! The owner is usually there and is a good man. Highly recommended!

I have been getting my haircut here for about 6 months, and they have consistently done a great job. Previously, I was getting my hair cut at sport clips, and was annoyed with the lack of consistency in quality I experienced there, so decided to give this place a try. I have gotten my hair cut by both Andrea and Jaylynn here and they both do an excellent job! Price is similar to sport clips (actually a little cheaper) and the quality WAY better. Really glad I found this place!
