The barbers here are exceptional!! Awesome place the service the quality and care they give you and your hair is just amazing! 0 complaints they provide with you and take care of you with everything! Would definitely come back here 100 more times! Come on in and ask for Oscar Lozano in my opinion hes got u good and will leave u clean and fresh!!

Over the years, I've been to many barbershops and salons across Houston. I could never stick with one place for too long, as my experiences have been inconsistent, regardless of the service or who was taking care of me. In my four-to-five times coming here, I can safely say I found my home. Jimmy is the one that cuts my hair, and that man knows his craft. You pay $40 for quality and expertise. I have not had a single problem here so far. Whether you want consistency or to try something new, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Lastly, whenever I get a cut from this place, I always get compliments the next few days after.

Best shop in the city! Both of my sons go to Lee. Cuts are always on point. Edges crisp with razor and tapers/fades blended clean.

If you wanna get right this is where you need to go. they have a barber for a every style and if you need braids or a retwist they have someone for you too. Been going here for years and no complaints. Shoutout my guys Lee and Mark!!

Juan stayed late to cut my sons hair before school started from xmas break, he was so happy and looking fresh for school tomorrow, he didn't rush or seemed bothered at all, great service and price was the icing on the cake, would recommend his services any day. My boys just found their new barber!

Just called the Five Star Elite Barber Shop and reached a Barber who was extremely rude and nasty! I asked his name for reference and he absolutely refused to provide the information. He said “just tell them you talked to someone at the barbershop”! This experience alone is a turn off and makes me want to go elsewhere to learn! I made the barber know that I tried the phone number listed on the website, but it was disconnected. He didn’t care! When I asked again after letting him know that he was being extremely rude, that I needed to know his name, so that I can let whoever is in charge know about who gave me this bad experience, he then went on to try and justify his terrible rudeness by yelling at me “ma’am you called the barbershop, we’re busy”!!! They might be alright in hair cuts, but definitely NOT elite in the customer/ prospective experience!!! How do they get Barber Students, when they can’t even be reached?!!! Smh 01/02/26 12:50 pm

Don’t recommend this place at all.. sent my brother in there to get cut and there was only one person in there getting cut.. after he was done with the guy sitting there he went and warmed up his lunch so my bro stayed sitting there waiting… instead of communicating anything to my little bro the guy gets up and goes to the back to eat his lunch.. didn’t say shit to my bro.. just left him up there sitting there after he was already sitting there for like 30 min waiting… the least dude coulda did was talk to him, let him know he’ll be quick or something.. not just leave him up there like his time ain’t valuable.. I get it ppl have a lunch break.. but if a paying customer is waiting on you and has been.. the least he coulda done was have some type of communication… unprofessional as hell.. I’ll take him somewhere that values customer service a little more..

Jimmy is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to! From the moment I sat in his chair, he took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offering great suggestions along the way. His attention to detail is impeccable, and you can tell he genuinely takes pride in his craft. The fade was flawless, the line-up sharp, and the overall result was better than I could have imagined. On top of his skills, Jimmy is super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for a barber who delivers top-notch results, Jimmy is your guy. Highly recommend!

I forgot the barber’s name. He told me he was an instructor. Although he was nice, he was very rough. He cut me up and I still have cuts days after. I showed him pictures of myself with a fresh cut and told him exactly what I want. And I also showed him pictures of what I don’t want. I told him I want just the ends cut but he ended up chopping off almost half the length of my hair. He thinned my hair too much. After I told him that he cut it too short, he showed me pictures of what he was going for even though I showed him pictures of exactly what I wanted. He never clarified with me how much length to cut. He just started cutting. He apologized for giving me the wrong cut but still charged me $35. He also didn’t show me a price menu.
