Amazing experience with Ahn every time! She provided a personalized assessment based on my hair type and my desire to change my style during our first session and the results were incredible. I have received many compliments for my new hair cut and I love it. Not only is she a skillful grooming specialist, she is very pleasant to converse with. Highly recommend!

Moved to Houston 4 months ago. Tried this place out and had the luck of meeting Tron who has been taking care of me since then. Always on time, the up keeps are free as well as the drinks. Maybe pricey but the service is consistent and I can be very picky about my barbers hahah! Definitely recommend

I perfer to keep my identity hidden. Im not going back, and i don't feel like helping the owners feel better about themselves. It took forever to find the place. It literally looks like a strip club by the railroad tracks. Front desk was rude, my service was rushed. I was nicked by the neck shave. My hair was not blended properly. They kept pushing products on me to purchase. I just wanted to relax. There are other salons with better people and don't give off sketchy vibes. I get treated well by the ladies at sportsclips and great clips. Yeah its a rushed budget haircut, thats why Im happy to pay $40 with tip, instead of $80. Whoever runs this place is running a luxury sweat shop.

I have to say, every time I go, I get a great experience, the barbers and hairstylist are very professional and always give great advice. The personnel is very polite and the amenities are very clean and nice. I had a very relaxing experience and I received a great treatment and I was very satisfied with the services I received. Great job Gents Place!!! 5 stars highly recommend 👌

I have gotten several services with their Tanglewood location which is now closed. I tried this lock and was rescheduled twice. Then, they canceled my service at arrival within 15 minute allowable grace period. Their reservation system uses offsite operators who don’t know what’s happening at the salon. It’s like dealing with a government agency. Not what’s expected of a luxury service provider (prices prove that). Hard pass in the future.

Great place! great experience! Easy to get to. Lots of parking. Right on 1300 Shepherd Dr by I10 in the 610 loop. They have dominos and tvs and other things to keep you having a good time while being there. Also everyone was real nice and informative about options for my hair treatment.

An amazing place, the experience is second to none! Each time I come in, I ask for Tron, and he is an expert at his craft, best haircuts I’ve ever had, and that’s no boast! To top it off, Janette is a wonderful host, makes me feel like I’m at a home away from home! Highly recommended.

The Gents Place in Houston is hands down the best grooming experience I’ve had. I used to go to The Boardroom, but this is leaps and bounds better in every way. The stylists are professional, the atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable, and the lounge area makes it easy to get work done before or after a haircut. The membership pricing is more than reasonable for the level of service and experience you get. If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond, this is it.

I’ve been a member of The Gents Place both at the old River Oaks District location and now at the new Washington Heights location, and I’ve loved both. This place is more than just a barbershop – it’s part business club, part barber – and every time I walk in I feel welcome and always leave in a better mood than I came. The experience starts at the front desk, where the concierges are super friendly and make you feel right at home. When it comes to the barbers, I’ve had Jordyn, Maryann, and Diamond cut my hair (among others), and every single time I’ve been extremely satisfied. They’re diligent, professional, and clearly know their craft inside and out. The extras are a big plus too – like the shoe shine service, which is super practical since I work in an office, and the events/popups they host from time to time, which add a really cool social element. All in all, The Gents Place delivers a consistently great experience that goes far beyond just a haircut. Highly recommend!
