I called the Gent Spot on Friday night with a special request. I’m currently battling cancer and called to ask if they would be willing to shave my head. I spoke with Miles and asked for a design but told him I trusted his expertise. When my friends and I arrived we were greeted with smiles and cheer. We ordered drinks at the bar and hung out in the lounge area. The owners and Miles truly delivered a wonderful experience for what should have been a completely heartbreaking experience. Everyone here rolled out the red carpet for our experience. I left feeling empowered and completely pampered like a queen. If you are in the Houston area you definitely need to come to the Gent Spot. They’ve gained a lifelong customer in me. Thank you again Paco, Melvin and Miles you guys truly changed my life and I Am forever grateful.

My good friend Lynn price owner of Turkey leg hut recommended me to go to gents barber shop and lounge and I must say it was quite the experience. The service was excellent. My boy Paco was supposed to be there to cut my hair but he recommended Andro who turned out to be an excellent Barber himself. The owner show quality hospitality and was very pleasant. Overall the atmosphere and everything else was quite the experience. Five star Jackie Jackson

Thanks to new ownership this place has become a retreat! The atmosphere is laid-back, modern and classy. The owner is attentive, calm and caring. The staff is professional and awesome. I brought my son here to get a haircut. Brad was his barber. I asked him to ‘refresh’ and cleanup his current cut. I know that’s not easy because he did not know the original cut. To my amazement Brad applied his skills and creativity to elevate the cut to a masterpiece. It’s like I didn’t know my baby’s hair could look that great! Thank you Brad. I have already referred several friends to them.

Johnny B is a truly incredible barber. His focus and attention to detail is unmatched. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. The shop is incredible with a full service bar, cigars and hookah. I've been to a lot of different barbershops, but this one tops them all. Even though I'm just a client, they've made me feel like family.

My wife brought me here a few weeks ago and I wish we found this spot soon. Tanny is quite possibly the best barber I've ever had. He's very professional, take his time with your cut, ask if everything is ok, and friendly. The rest of the staff is the same way, from how they interact with their clients, everyone seems really happy while they're in this shop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed environment for gentlemen and also a great haircut.

Came here a few months ago to get a beard trim because Vs had raised their price and was really impressed. Great spot with a full bar, I thought I was home. Barber Alex gave me a pencil mustache though and that’s not even close to my look, but no biggie I should’ve been more descriptive with what I wanted so I came back 2 week later to get a haircut and beard trim. I explained to Alex in great detail no sharp lines and do NOT cut into my mustache from the top down, the guy is on his phone the whole time but I assume he hears me. We’re into the shave and I can feel the blade cut down my mustache 🤦🏻‍♂️. On top of that I notice there was no hot towel so I asked him what was up. He said the GENT’S ULTIMATE – HAIR & BEARD didn't include hot towel, I pull up the website and sure enough it was right there. He says that’s wrong that there should be no hot towel OR head wash BUT he could do it this time. We end the haircut and shave with no hot towel or head wash, not to mention my mustache was even worse than the first time because it was thin AND crooked. I pay and leave very disappointed. Again, it’s a great spot with a great bar and Alex was a funny cool guy, just not the best listener I guess. Just checked their website again and their GENT’S ULTIMATE – HAIR & BEARD still says hot towel and head wash on there so either Alex was mistaken or their website is wrong. Luckily I found a place close by, Tune Up, that not only has a bar but it’s free. Haircuts $25 and beard trims $10 so I’m saving money and don’t have to worry about bad mustaches 😂

The barbershop is clean and modern with a full service bar and hookah. The entire staff is welcoming and attentive to your every need. I personally get my haircut from Johnny B. I like to consider him a barber of the people. He always puts in the time and effort on every cut and will not let you leave until you are 100% satisfied with your cut. He uses the best barber equipment and his barber skills are second to none. I highly recommend this place and Johnny B!

Updated review: This place is great. Andy is a fantastic barber, super precise and pays a lot of attention to detail. Also very friendly and helpful! My boyfriend has curly hair and has had difficulty finding a great barber - until now. We never realized how poorly his hair was cut until he sat in Andy’s chair (he was even nice enough to cut my boyfriends hair on his birthday). This place is more than a barber shop, it has a variety of services. They offer facials, pedis, waxing, and they even have a full service bar! The interior of the place is super modern. I could definitely see this place being a spot for men to hang out, while being groomed. The owners are also super friendly and clearly care about their clients. A hidden gem, definitely recommending this to all my friends.

Great and relaxing atmosphere! It has been a battle with my son and haircuts. Took my son in and the barber was spot on made him feel at ease and he was able to trust his knowledge! I was not tense as his guard was down and it made me feel at ease. I also loved the bar/lounge area after a rough day at work I rewarded myself with a drink. I can honestly say this was our best, relaxing haircut experience. Glad to know we now have a spot... The Gents Spot

Such a cool concept, a barber shop with a full bar and my favorite beer! I dont even need to come for a haircut, I just love sitting at the bar because it's so beautiful!!!
