My wife gets her hair cut here & Lex slays it every single time. I look forward to her hair cut every two weeks, and I know she does too. Everyone at the shop is so sweet, kind & talented. Honestly you can’t go wrong by booking with ANYONE here. The shop has an old school neighborhood type vibe that you only see in movies, except it’s even better than that because it’s inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly. I’d give 500 stars if I could!!!

I found this place because I followed Geno, who moved here from another shop — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a true neighborhood barber shop, the kind you see in the movies where everyone knows each other and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. It’s LGBT-owned, inclusive, and has that real community feel. You’re not treated like a number — you’re treated like you belong. Highly recommend.

I love this place! Geno makes sure I look fresh and crisp every time I walk out. And the owner Electa has done a great job giving this place a vibe that is artistic, unique, welcoming, and positive. They’ve got me locked down as a customer for sure!

Literally the best haircut I’ve ever had! Lucas took care of me but everyone seemed awesome and the vibe is welcoming and on point. The attention to detail is impressive. Can’t recommend highly enough! Thank you!

Just had my first session with Geno and it’s absolutely safe to say that I found my barber! He completely transformed my hair and walked me through the entire cut he was doing. He even gave me recommendations on how to style it. I also want to comment that the whole vibe of the barbershop was amazing. Everyone was kind when walking in and it felt like I was in a safe space. I definitely look forward to booking another session here.

Fantastic experience today with Geno at Smokin' Mirrors Barbershop. It was my first visit and Geno greeted me when I arrived, offered me something to drink from their well stocked refrigerator, and took a lot of time to examine my hair and how it grows and listen to my thoughts about what I wanted. After a good deal of discussion he offered some helpful observations about my hair and proposed an approach that would achieve a great look for me given my hair type, facial shape, and preferences. Once we had mutually agreed on how to proceed he began and explained exactly what he was doing and why throughout the haircut, which I really appreciated. Once complete he styled my hair and explained the products he was using and how each one helped achieve the look I wanted. It was extraordinary experience and very enjoyable. I will be returning to Geno for my next cut, and probably many more. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Geno for beard trims for about a year now, and he’s been consistently great every single time. He pays close attention to detail, takes his time, and always makes sure everything looks clean and sharp before you leave the chair. Beyond his skill, Geno is just a genuinely kind soul. He makes you feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of, which I appreciate very much! I’m really happy to see him starting this next chapter at Smokin’ Mirrors Barbershop. They’re lucky to have him, and I highly recommend booking with him if you’re looking for top-notch beard work, haircuts and a great experience overall.

This is such a chill place to go get your haircut. Such an inclusive and welcoming environment for everybody. Wonderful vibes. Paige is the one who cut my hair, and she does a pretty good job doing so. She pays very close attention to details and is willing to take the time to get it right. I recommend booking her. Very friendly and conversational too.
