Nostalgic classic barbershop. Go here for a traditional barber experience, great conversation and amazing cuts. Thanks, Raymond!

Been coming here since 2003, Raymond Sr. groomed the first beard on my face. He and his son, Richard, and his son’s son, RJ have all been my barbers over these last 23 years. A shout to Carl, the 4th shift barber! They are the most consistent pack of barbers, all have their own attention to details and generational conversations. The price is the lowest inside of the beltway and the quality is unmatched. No matter how far away I end up moving, I always call to see if they have time for me. Each one of them do the “best part of the haircut” hot lather and straight edge blade my neck line. So damn relaxing. Remember y’all they are cash only. Or at least that is the only way I have paid them. Thanks again fellas!

Extremely pleasant experience with this family-owned business that has been there since the 1980s. Appreciated Carlos' effort to really get me exactly what I wanted. The haircut is affordable, no frills, but who cares about that. Also feels good to support a locally-owned business. You can tell they really care about their customers. Will be back for years to come.

I advise calling ahead to make sure they're open even if Google says they are. The price is good. I give my barber a $5 tip on top of that and still feel like I'm getting a bargain. Ray's is an old-fashioned shop where the barbers know your name. I have no problem driving 28 miles in from Katy to get a cut. Grandpa Raymond, son Ricky and grandson CJ have become like family to me.

A Houston institution, a classic! I've been to Raymonds over the past 4 years and they have never disappointed. It's a family ran business that takes pride in their trade, and they are open early! They do a great job! Not to mention it's an affordable price for the location. I moved from Houston but would visit Raymond's if I ever come back. I miss this place, to be honest. Old school as it gets.

Been going to Richard for years , loved all my haircuts , and have grown to love the family that runs it . Unfortunately my family had to move to DC for a great job, but every holiday when I visit , I never fail to get a haircut with Richard . But what makes this barber different , is his heart of gold. My father recently had a massive fall and broke his femur, he was hospitalized for 3 weeks for rehab , he was feeling pretty blue and depressed. Richard time out of his Sunday morning and headed down to to the hospital and gave my father a great haircut and shave, he left my father feeling like a million dollars and cheered him up, can’t put a price on that, comes from the heart.

Decided to give this place a shot. Was in and out pretty quickly and it didn’t seem too thorough but the cut was decent enough - not spectacular. Unfortunately I didn’t check the neckline and found it was very uneven. I don’t know how you can let someone leave with such an obviously poorly done neckline. Had to go to another shop to fix it because they’re closed on Sunday. Very disappointed and a waste of money and time.
