I should have made the drive to East Downtown. I walked in here looking scraggly and left looking like a (redacted) edgar. 3 stars for speed and friendliness.

I have been going to Prestige for a year now . My barber Carlos is one of the best Barbers in the salon. I got referred by an attorney and his assistants that have been using him for so many years now . I've never been disappointed, edge up on point, beard and mustache trim, eyebrows done and more that he treats me like family and makes me feel welcome and right at home. Been coming to Prestige for about 5 years and Carlos has taken care of us since day one. He's the first person to cut my son's hair and will keep going with him until he can't cut anymore. Would recommend anyone who wants to look fresh, but also experience a proper barber service to go to him. He accepts cash, zelle or cashapp to accommodate everyone.

Got a nice fade from Ehiamen. Price was $25. I paid with CashApp. He said it was a $2 up charge for card, but I'm not sure if that was included in my transaction. Would recommend this place. Very much a barbershop atmosphere. 2 Nigerian barbers, 2 African American barbers, 2 Latino barbers. The barbers definitely take pride in their work. The building is old, but clean.

Brought 3 kids to this barber shop and each kids hair was messed up. I showed the barber a picture and told him edge him up and make sure the cut is wave length. The barber promptly pushed back my sons edge up. The other two boys looked like they never got a cut at all. I gave one star because I had to but I wouldn’t recommend this shop for anyone. I’m almost certain that these barbers don’t have legitimate licenses.

Ray, my new barber for my son is a good human being. Very professional and attentive. The atmosphere at the location is welcoming and friendly. This was my first time experiencing this location so naturally as a consumer I'm looking at everything. Cleanliness, size of place, other barbers, TV or music being played, parking and of course the ability to give a satisfying haircut. Ray hit a home run and brought all the other bases in. On all of the above mentioned the place is a 10.

Professional and top notch service being delivered at prestige barber. You can't be disappointed with your decision. Make sure you ask for my man Akeem (best barber in Houston), he'll take care of you real good!
