I walked in about 40 mins before closing time and Joel gladly took me as a walk in. He was professional, quick and has a light hand when cutting with clippers and when using the straight razor. Honestly, I'd say he's the best with a straight razor line up I've ever seen. If you a brotha, you know how important that line up is to the haircut. You can tell dude has been doing this for 20+ years! Good pricing as well. Highly recommend!

I have been to many different barbershops and only a handful are adequate at cutting a brother's hair. while my regular barber was out, Nica did me some justice. he did it jus like I asked with the finishing touches. much appreciated

Living in Houston for 2 years and have been disappointed by numerous barbers. Started going to Nica's about 6 months ago, and haven't been anywhere else since. I won't let anyone else cut my hair. Very fast and affordable. Be sure to call a day ahead and book a reservation. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

I have been going here for about 7 years. It’s the best place in Houston to get a haircut. I drive about 35 minutes, but it’s well worth it. Especially if your care about your appearance.
