We brought our child for a haircut, and unfortunately the result was not acceptable. The front bangs were clearly uneven, which we noticed after washing at home. When we returned the next day to show the issue, the response felt indifferent rather than understanding. Being asked “what do you want?” instead of hearing a simple apology was disappointing. All we expected was a bit of empathy and professional communication. Given the situation, we requested a refund and chose not to have the haircut corrected again. For parents, especially with children, respectful attitude and accountability matter as much as the haircut itself. Sadly, this experience fell short on both. Update in response to the business’s reply… Yes, my son’s haircut was definitely done at your shop. On December 31, 2025, around 12:50 PM, I made the payment at your business using my card. After the haircut, we stopped at a few places and then went home. The stylist applied hair product after the cut, which is why I only noticed the uneven haircut after my son took a shower at home. I returned to your shop around 7:30 PM the same evening, but you were already closed. If you review your security camera footage, you will clearly see us in front of your business at that time. I then returned again on January 2 at approximately 12:30 PM. If you review your camera recordings from that visit, you will not only see me present, but you will also be able to observe the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior that followed when I raised the issue. Additionally, a young staff member—who had no direct involvement in the haircut—displayed inappropriate behavior in front of my children, which was particularly unacceptable. After that experience, we had no choice but to visit another nearby shop, “V’s Barber Shop.” The employee who corrected the haircut, Sara, struggled significantly to fix it and stated that she could not understand what the original stylist was trying to do. The hair had been cut unevenly and inconsistently, both in the front and the back, with no clear technique or structure. I am fully aware of where I went and which business I reviewed. Rather than managing the situation professionally and taking responsibility, implying that the customer may have confused your shop with another business unfortunately demonstrates your overall approach to customer service and accountability. From the beginning, our expectation was very simple: empathy, responsibility, and professional communication.

I went to Mustache Cut last Saturday and Omar did a phenomenal job. I have been looking for a barber shop for about a year and I finally found the one I've been looking for. I showed Omar a picture of what I wanted, he understood right away and did exactly what I wanted.

My second time here getting my hair cut with Omar and he doesn't disappoint. I can appreciate that he cares about his craft, takes his time with each person and makes sure you love your cut. I confidentially say I found my barber that I can stick with in the energy corridor, who isnt just focused on getting you in and out of the chair like some of the other places in the area.

From the moment I opened the door I felt welcome. Omar could tell instantly what would suit me and made a plan along with my input, carefully calibrating his method along the way. It was relaxing to be in the care of someone who I could tell was a master of the process, not just the end result. He gave practical tips on how to style the hair to keep the look and feel I wanted. This shop is amazing! I struggled to find a style that best fits me, but Omar’s experience and skills quickly put my mind at ease. He is extremely insightful, precise, & talented. This has been my regular place for years. I drive out from Katy just to get a cut here. Omar is the owner-operator and I trust no one else with my hair! He does a spectacular job with fades and takes great care with his attention to detail. He will cut it exactly the way you want if given instructions. Highly recommend you try this place out of you’re looking for a new barber!!
