Sure if you want to leave with a messed haircut and verbally assaulted 5 year old child by Kendrick… not sure why this establishment lets this man pocket money out the register and rewrite sign-in sheets and crossing names off the list… all while cussing out (on MULTIPLE occasions) loyal customers who are *children* that come in there all the time.. If you have an autistic child I don’t recommend this location on rankin road.. never had an issue at 1960 in humble just this location and this “master barber”

MY son (3years) is autistic. I was very worried about his sensory issues and how he might react. Our barber was Gabriel. He put him at ease. And not one single fight ,meltdown or tear. Thanks for being who you are. We will definitely return.

Ms Blu is one of the best barbers I've had.She is very customer oriented and professional. Houston Barber School is lucky to have her.I will recommend to my family and friends.

First time I went was on Saturday with my 5 year old grand baby. Hair cut looked good Sunday my daughter sent a picture of his back of his head..so many razor bumps. I was very not pleased and so wasn't his mother! I will not take him back there. Shavors were dirty! Had to be! You live and you learn! Very unhappy

Just hosted a Good Friday haircut event here and the services were exceptional. Thanks to all the barbers who participated and a special thanks to David for his hospitality.

My boys and late father been going to this place for yrs even though they cost more. You can't choose your barber and you still have to pay extra for senior barber. We found a school only $5 and you can choose the barber. I'm SO happy we changed places.

This is not true. You can stiĺl choose a barber that you want as long as you pay the 3 dollars to request that student. Remember that these are students who do not work and that 3 dollars is for the student not the school. Im sorry you were told you could not request who you want but we will make sure that all the staff is on the same page. If you choose to come back, this will not happen again but if you choose to continue at the other school, I hope that they take care of you. Thank you for giving us a chance.

Great instructors and student barbers!!! They always do a great job with both of my boys, even with my youngest who is autistic. Patience is EVERYTHING wjen dealing with him and they hit the mark EVERYTIME!! Thank you all for the work you do🙂

The teachers are very skilled and informative. Organized operation. Barbers are attentive and nice. And everybody seems like a family environment. I'll be going there every week for my cut plus I'm signing up for school

Would recommend this place for all ages. My son what you call swirls in his hair so at times it can be challenging for some to cut. The student name was William and he did a good job and made sure to ask was there any imperfections. His teacher which names starts with a L, I believe Lorenzo can over and assist him and showed him new techniques in a positive way. The reason I say that is because I have seen where people try to assist but kinda put the student down. Also very affordable if funds are low. Keep up the awesome work guys.

If you’re looking to be a barber this is a great school. It’s not much to the eye, but they have everything you need and the knowledge you need to know. My time there was extremely beneficial. David the owner has a lot on his plate and some how still has time to help you or find some one to help you. The instructors he hires are motivated and insightful. I actually looked forward to going to school everyday.
