Mike H. cut my hair today. I showed him one picture and he was off to the races. Mike was professional and went above and beyond to give me a good experience. I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend Mike H if you need a haircut!

An absolutely wonderful barber. The results are always on point. The owner is a great guy with exceptional skills—he knows exactly what to do and never fails to give me the look I’m going for. Highly recommended without a doubt.

Mike has been doing an amazing job taking care of me the past couple of years. He never hesitates to take his time and make sure I look my best prior to walking out of his doors. These pictures are from my wedding day a couple of days after my cut, and I find that my haircut can last up to 6 weeks if I wanted it to. I recommend their services and they will definitely take care of you as well.

Wanted to experiment and try another place to cut my hair and boy was I glad to find Houranis. Mike gave me an excellent cut; super efficient and fast, which showed his experience. A man of little words but when but when he spoke, his voice was gentle and peaceful like a close friend you haven’t seen in a long time. I found a gem of an establishment and a barber for many years to come. Highly Recommended!!

Here’s an updated review been to a variety of different places over the years here in Houston. This has to be the best place to get my haircut! totally worth a 35 minute drive from my house to this place. I strongly encourage getting an appointment so that way, you can make sure that you don’t have to wait as it does get full during the day. The nice thing is that they do have some longer hours so I was able to get in at 7 PM on a Saturday. From The barber’s seldom do a variety of haircuts over the years from children to adults from those that just want beard treatment to those that want haircuts Very clean interior very inviting atmosphere calming music playing comfortable couches for waiting Highly recommend and look forward to coming back

After trying multiple barbershops in the Westchase area, I think I have finally found my permanent barber. Mike pays excrutiating levels of detail to what you ask for, as well as using his obvious decades of experience to match your request. There is no wasted movement, or distraction from getting the job done. The quality of both the hair cut and beard trim are excellent. The waiting area is comfortable, the entire shop is extremely clean, and all staff are welcoming. Make sure to book in advance to make sure you get a chance to get cleaned up and lined up perfectly.

Just got my haircut with Mike, and I couldn’t be happier! He is got real skill, precise with every cut, but still super relaxed and easy to talk to. The whole experience felt more like catching up with a friend than just getting a haircut. His attention to detail and hospitality make you feel right at home. Definitely found my go-to guy from now on.

I will be so honest I had super high hopes I have 11 year old son who is a bit picky about his haircut we have a barber that we go to but unlike this place it has early closing hours which is why I gave this place a shot. We went in today and at home we noticed he didn't finish his shape up. I felt the barber rushed through it and when he had him get up saying he was done I realized he didn't have his shape up done, We asked him to please do it, he basically rushed through it worse than the actual haircutting so much so he left one side incomplete. Our regular barber takes a long time but it's definitely worth the attention and quality work. We are left with great disappointed. The pictures are of both sides of his head and NOTE this is after attempting to blend the straight angle he left myself, it was super straight sharp cut not rounded out like there other side. Really wish I would have read the reviews 😭😭

No client should feel rushed, especially a young man in the chair for the first time with us. A shape-up should be clean and complete, and it sounds like we fell short on both. If you're open to it, please call the shop or stop by and ask for a manager so we can take a closer look and correct the cut at no charge. I want to wholeheartedly thank Hourani's Barbershop for the excellent treatment they give my son, who is autistic. They always treat him with great patience, love, and understanding. Not all places know how to treat special children, but here the love and dedication are evident in every cut. My son feels calm and happy every time we go.
