10/10 experience!! Helena is an absolute gem! I needed goddess braids and she got me in quickly without sacrificing quality. My hair came out exactly how I envisioned it - she’s a phenomenal braider with serious skill. Beyond her talent, she’s genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll meet. If you’re looking for someone who delivers flawless work and makes the whole experience enjoyable, Helena is your person. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I was a little nervous because this was my first time going to a new braider but Clementine did a FANTASTIC job. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she did better. The colors she chose for me were very flattering. If you’re getting boho braids though I do suggest bringing your own hair!

Helena (Clementine) is so warm and professional. Her salon is clean, service is great and at a very fair price. There’s a parking at the garage in the building specially dedicated to her customers. Will definitely be visiting her again.

This was our first time here. Both of my daughters got their hair done. Both styles came out extremely cute! The prices are reasonable. Clementine is very friendly and we’ll definitely be back

Helena is my go to hair braided in Houston! My hair ALWAYS is perfect when I walk out with tons of compliments for weeks on end. Throughout 2025, she has done various hairstyle for me to include multiple feed-in braid and French curls (which looked stunning for 5-6 weeks!). She is ON TIME, quick, and has an incredible scheduling process to allow for Monday and Sunday appointments. Location is very convenient and salon is very nice and comfy and REASONABLY priced - and her quality is worth it!

I was visiting for the holidays google hairbraiding near me,contacted on a Sunday evening I didn't have the hair she was so kind and patient walking me through the process for the appt next day We started on time,shop is very clean,super neat,these braids did not disappoint Knowles box braids medium midback I will be returning again

This was my first time getting braids with a design. Usually, when I just need to manage my hair, I only do two cornrows. I have to say Helena did a beautiful job — I absolutely loved it. I received compliments all day at work. Her hands are very gentle, which I really appreciated. As for the salon, it’s very spacious and comfortable. Helena also finished the style in about 2.5 hours, which my friends told me is pretty fast, haha. I highly recommend her and hope her business continues to grow.

I went here Thursday night for butterfly braids for my birthday . She was nice enough to take me at 7:30 and they closed at 8! She was a true life saver because my last braider didn’t show up for my appointment. Thank you Helena 🧡

I love my braids! I made a last minute decisions to get smedium butt length French curl braids with color on a Sunday. I chose Helena’s shop and had an appointment the next day! I’m so glad I went with her. The shop is very spacious and the set-up made it very easy for me to get work done while being serviced. Two ladies worked on my hair which helped me get out in about 7 hours (I have thick, long hair). I live in the river oaks area, so the location is perfect for me. Helena was meticulous with my hair and took her time polishing the final style. I have zero complaints and plan on going back!!

I had an amazing experience at this braiding salon. The owner was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with my hair. She took her time to make sure every braid was perfect and exactly to my liking. When she finished, my scalp wasn’t sore at all,no tightness, no pain ,just flawless, comfortable braids. That same day, I went out and received more compliments than I’ve ever gotten wearing wigs or extensions. Men noticed, women noticed ,people kept asking who did my hair. Multiple people told me it looked like it was done by a true professional, and that’s exactly what she is. Her work is worth every penny, and her spirit is just as beautiful as her craft. I will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for quality, comfort, and braids done by someone who truly cares, this is the place. Highly recommend hands down, the best braiding experience I’ve ever had. Thank you💕🙏🏾
