My doctor had previously diagnosed me with terminal LSS (Low Swag Syndrome) and it was detrimentally affecting my personal life, social life, and my confidence in my career. My wife and I had been trying to get pregnant for months and months and i was starting to wonder if she might leave me. Simply put, my LSS was affecting my ability to reproduce. Until one day, as if it were fate, i stumbled upon HIM. I cannot put this lightly when i say that Gus the Barber is HIM. His space tastefully minimalist, with the right amount of class and nostalgia-- a dojo fit for a 7th degree black belt in cutting hair. After getting my hair cut, an emergence of confidence and equanimity coursed through my body, and I knew what had to be done. I went home and long story short i have triplets on the way. Ever since that haircut, i can't get my wife to keep her paws off me. I recently had to call 911 and get someone to use that "jaws of life" hydraulic tool, like they do for car accidents, just to pry her off for 5 minutes of peace. BLESS YOU GUS.

After doing some research online for a barber that I could truly trust with my son's hair, I found Gus, and he is absolutely amazing! My son's hair is wavy/curly, which can be tricky for some to cut but Gus handled it with precision and expertise, giving my son the exact cut that he picked out for himself. My son loves his new look and genuinely enjoys his time with Gus. And as mom, the positive and warm energy In his shop make it easy to sit back and relax as I wait for his cut to be done.

I took my 2.5-year-old son to Gus for his haircut, and he was incredible! He was so patient, kind, and did everything to make my son feel comfortable and relaxed. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and has a special way with kids. It’s also the best haircut my son has ever had. Highly recommend Gus to any parents looking for someone who’s both talented and great with little ones!

Took my 14 year old son today, booked the same day! It was wonderful. The location is great, downtown. Easy parking and the shop was clean. Gus spent his time, has excellent skills and an even bettwr personality! We will definitely be back to see Gus. Thank you so much.

I was looking for a new barber and came across Gus on my way to work (saw a sign at a new location) and gave him a try….couldnt have gone any better! Haircut was exactly what I wanted and I don’t have the easiest hair and am very particular about my fade :). The inside was unexpected and very cool…vibe was amazing. Gus was very flexible as well, 100% coming back!

I was destined to come here, I needed a haircut, the studio was very convenient, came in and was warmly greeted by Gus, he is super chill, he was with a client but asked politely if I could wait a bit and I'll be next. When I sat in his chair, he looked at my face and instantly knew what would look good for me and then started to meticulously cut my hair,... found out that he came from a family of hair cutters, that originated from Mexico City, we chatted, it was easy, really cool and chill. The hair cut was exactly what I wanted. Enough said, Gus my man, keep doing what inspires you.
