The girls over there are kind and helpful they try to understand the the style I want But the only man who works there he didn't even try or welcome us. 5 stars for the women 0000 for the man

Owner's response

Mohammad, we sincerely apologize for this interaction. We strive to make our customers feel welcomed. Please let us win you back over with a complimentary haircut by any of the girls. Just call ahead before you come and ask for Jordan or Amy when you’re on the way and we will happily assist you.

Took my son there, and he was fearing the worst cuz he's went to so many bars that didn't know how to handle his curly hair.... Turns out Jordan did an awesome job on his hair, and he will be returning customer. .... She restored his faith in barbers.. seriously no joke and no exaggeration

Owner's response

Aww! Thanks for those kind words, and for giving us a chance to win your trust. See you soon!<br>

I love the place. When you go there, ask for Tola. He's an incredible barber. I've gone to a thousand places, and this is the first time I actually like my haircut. I explained so little, and he was able to understand exactly what I needed to feel confident.

I have been visiting this barber shop for over 15 years and Amy has been cutting my hair for 10 of those years. Adam steps in if she is busy or absent. They both do a very good job (though Adam does a slightly better job) and I have received many compliments. I will be moving from Houston end of 2021 and will miss Friendly Barbershop #2.

I have had my haircut 4 times now by Jordan and she does a great job every time! She pays attention to detail and makes sure I'm happy with the cut. Everyone in the shop has a great attitude and greet you when you walk in. No appointments are taken so it best to get there early before long lines form. Quality haircuts at a low price!

Owner's response

Thanks For the kind words!

Moved to the area a few months ago and tried a barber shop off of Spring Cypress and a salon off of 249 and Jones. The haircuts were ok. They were nothing special and in my opinion overpriced. Found the Friendly Barber Shop on Google and liked the reviews. Tried it out yesterday and now I can stop looking around for another place to get my hair cut. Jordan did an awesome job, so much so that I brought my son in this morning. His hair looks great too. We would recommend the place to anybody. Definitely a friendly barber shop.

Owner's response

Awwww you are so sweet! Thank you for those friendly words and for giving us a chance. Can't wait to hear more of Ryan's crazy stories ;)

One of the best recommendations I've had was to this barber shop. Always satisfied with my sons haircut, I refuse to take him anywhere else. Jordan knows his exact style and she's great with kids! Love the family atmosphere and personal touch you get here... super affordable too!

Owner's response

Thank you for such kind words, we always love seeing how smart, handsome, and witty your son gets every time he comes back. Can't wait to see y'all before school starts ;)

Went there today to get my sons hair faded. When i walked in nobody said anything to me and i sat down awaiting my turn because the man was already busy with another customer. A lady walked in got her station ready and asked if she could help the next Customer which was me. She was very nice and informative as i don't know very much about men's haircuts. Got him a cute taper fade. She was very sweet and calm with my son and very understanding even when my son was wiggling out the chair. His fade came out so well. And it was 14 dollars nice price for a good fade. Defiantly found my sons barber

This barbershop is so unprofessional and unorganized. My friend recently just moved to Houston from California and I had recommended this place because there was a lady who cuts men's hair really well. I originally came back with my friend so he could get his hair cut by her but unfortunately she moved and was no longer there. Since this shop is right by where I live, we decided we could try the owner, his name is Charles and he's in the first chair when you first walk in. I came by the shop the first time and had asked if I could make an appointment with him on a day he was available. He told me the next morning at 9 so I said okay great. We came the next morning, come to find out they opened the shop 10 min late and it was a lady who came and opened the shop. We walked in and I had told her we had an appointment with Charles.. She tells me he usually doesn't work on the day I came and he has a hard time getting a car ride to work because he shares a car with his wife. We were disappointed and upset because we had came early, and he should have at least called or said something to us. Well we left and had to try a different place that was a lot more expensive and really far! We decided we would give "Friendly" barbershop another try so we walked in today and Charles was just finishing up a haircut.. No one said anything to us.. Not a good morning, not a hello.. Nothing.. We sat down and waited. He finally finished, paid his customer out and he started sweeping all the hair from the floor, took it to the back and he closed the door behind him.. We waited for 5 minutes until I decided to ask the other lady there cutting hair where he was, and if he would cut my friends hair. She goes to the back.. Comes out and says he usually isn't here on Monday's and that he was leaving. My friend and I looked at each others face like we couldn't believe it.. This man is so unprofessional and rude. We left and I was not able to have a word with him. We will never come by this shop again and I do not recommend it to anyone. Clearly he does not care about his shop or his customers.
