Friendly staff, great customer service, Barber shop was nice and clean smells good as you walk in. Mr. Rolton was very helpful and did a wonderful job on my haircut. 10/10. Felt great after my haircut and I will definitely be coming back.

Rolton does an incredible job as a barber and stylist. Attentive to detail and requests, making sure every the final product is as imagined and desired. I’ll be going back to him every time I need my hair cut

I had the most bizarre encounter when I walked into the barber shop. The guy asked me if I had an appointment. I said “no”. And he started laughing all condescending like I was the crazy one for not having an appointment. Needless to say, I left, and he called me “Rude” on the way out. Nice professionalism bro Sorry I tried to walk in without an appointment and hand over my money. I don’t know what I was thinking… Weird…

Weirdest experience I've ever had at a barbershop. I'm new to the area and have been to other Finley’s locations before, so I decided to try this one. Turns out I mixed up my scheduling and forgot to add in the beard trim. When I let the barber know, he told me he couldn't add it in as there was another appointment right after me. This was understandable, so I told him I would come back another time to get both done. This seemed to visibly upset/offend him. He started going on about the cancelation fee and talking at length about how I didn't follow the booking process. I sat back down to do the haircut without a beard trim, and he then started to talk about how there was "friction between us" and something about bad energies. At this point I wasn't sure what to do. I got up again to pay the fee and leave. He continued to go on about how he was trying to "calmly explain to me" their entire process, that the company would give him a hard time, and that somehow I was creating friction between us and making a big deal about things. I still don't get what the problem was, but it was clear that neither of us wanted me to be there. Note that I haven't used his name. We never even got to that point. Apologies to the barber for my energies. I'll be sure to take them somewhere else.

After a hard week last week, I decided to treat myself to a cut and beard trim which I had not done in a couple of years mainly because of the pandemic. My appointment was scheduled online with Rolton. He was late calling me back which was no big deal, but his demeanor was not friendly at all, he made no attempts at a conversation, and did not seem like he wanted to be there. He asked what I wanted done and I showed him a picture. During the haircut, a delivery man had stopped by and dropped off something at the receptionist desk and he took the time to go see what it was. He continued to cut my hair and I did not like the way it was looking so I asked, if he could just give me a high fade. He immediately started complaining about how much longer it would take, and went to the receptionist to ask if he had another appointment after me (this after taking the time to see what had been dropped off and calling me back late for my appointment). He then told me that he had another appointment and proceeded to ask what I wanted to do with my beard. He was completely disregarding my request and so at that point I asked if I could just wait for someone else to finish my cut and trim. He said I could and told me to go back to the waiting area. On my way there the receptionist asked me what was wrong and I explained it to her. She was completely apologetic and informed me that Sean would be taking care me if I didn’t mind waiting. Sean was awesome, he had no issues accommodating me and was very friendly. I should be happy with the haircut I’m paying for and should be able to change my mind if I’m not liking the way it’s looking. I’ll have to think twice about going to your establishment.

I came here per a recommendation and they did not disappoint. Sean has been cutting my hair here for maybe 4-5 months and every time he does a fantastic job. On top of the great cut, he provides me with recommendations on products that suit my hair type and style.

I had a good experience here with Sean. He fixed my hair line and cleaned me up nicely. I haven’t seen my beard looking this good before. I am thankful for booking it via class pass. I highly recommend this barber and facility.

Owner's response

Thank you you the kind words Peter. We hope you book again with us!

Before coming to Finley's I would typically go to places like Great Clips and I would occasionally get a decent haircut at an okay price. But that was my biggest issue - consistency. I was tired of having a garbage haircut every other visit. Finley's Barbershop was an amazing experience, specifically Adrian! With the little direction I provided him he was able to give me easily my best haircut and beard trim ever. I've already booked my next appointment (which is a complimentary clean-up, lengthening the time I need to go back for a full cut) and plan on coming back indefinitely!

This place used to be good, but not anymore. For $50 I can get a much better haircut experience somewhere else. Stylists or whatever they are called here don’t listen to your request and do their own thing. My whole haircut was less then 10 minutes. And at the end this guy cut my hair way too short, as like I was his last client or something and just wanted to get rid of me fast. The stylists are not professional they mess up a lot, I had experienced issues before. But I come here because they have always taken me in with no appointment needed, the front desk staff are friendly, plus they offer you drinks. For that I give them A+. But just because they give you a 30 sec back massage with a machine or a drink won’t justify what they charge. All around this experience was not even 2 star. Done with them for ever.

Great service, really friendly. Free drinks while you wait (beer, soda, coffee). Minimal waits with appointment. Claire cut my hair and had the rare barber's talent of understanding what I said I wanted and delivering it. She always asked questions to make sure she didn't make an unwanted cut, offered good suggestions, and made good conversation without being pushy. Would get my hair cut here again.
