Asked for a taper and bit off the top and they did exactly that. They were very welcoming and that was probably the best haircut I ever got.

I have been going here for over a year and absolutely love this place. Great haircuts at fair prices. I always get my beard and hair cut as well as a straight razor cleanup. Highly recommended. Most of the staff only speaks Spanish but you can show them pictures and use Google translate if needed.

My Barber was a lady, she did okay but just a lil more training on African hair type. Didn’t follow my shape up line and made an error by curving it instead of keeping it straight.

Great prices and quality work. My second time was the best experience with Kanic ( not sure if I’m spelling his name right). He took his time and is very detailed, gave me exactly what I wanted. Will be coming back more often

Castros barbershop is the best. All the Barbers are very experienced and knowledgeable on many different styles and haircuts. I always set appointments and the barbers are always right on time. Five star service for sure.

Castro Barbershop is hands down the best haircut spot within beltway 8. My experience there is always satisfying, and I'm super impressed with their attention to detail. I'll keep coming back for sure because I can always count on getting a fantastic haircut every time.The entire team there is welcoming and professional, and I've never left disappointed. I'm a regular customer of Cesi, and she's the best. Her meticulous approach always leads to a perfect end result!

Este lugar es un buen ejemplo que el trabajo o labor de alta calidad no es exclusivo a áreas mas adineradas. Muy buen trabajo de los barberos. They do a good job with cutting a nice fade. Communicate with the barber, if the limited English gets in the way just be patient and explains in barbers terms like double 0 or 1, 2, edge up, etc. He'll understand. I usually just hand them a 20 and walk out. 18 total for hair and brows if that's you're thing but they just use the clipper real quick on the brow. They will use the straight razor for the edge up included in the cut price. Hidden Gem, one of those places that highlights that skilled work is not exclusive to wealthier areas.
