I was looking for a good barbershop for a haircut and beard trim and found this place near my house. I ended up with the best barber, Mr. Oliver Rose, who gave me an excellent haircut and beard trim. The service was outstanding, and the price was very reasonable. I recommend getting on their waiting list to make sure you get a spot—it's definitely worth it!

I stopped by for a quick $20 haircut and had an amazing experience. The owner has been cutting hair for over 60 years, and it really shows not just in his skill, but in the stories he shares. I’m a student at UH in the Air Force ROTC program just down the street, and he took great care to clean me up and get me ready for the start of school. Excellent service, great value, and an awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend! Before & after pictures, best haircut I’ve had in a long time!

This is a great friendly barbershop in the heart of third ward. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a reasonable barbershop that will do great on my hair and this is by far the best barbershop in the area. It’s an old-school type of vibe that you would get back in the day type of barbershop. It's a family owned business. The older guy Mr. Rose was extremely friendly and very nice. My original plans was to get my haircut by his son D Rose, but he was already filled up so I went to his dad for a cut and it was a very nice haircut. He advised me to book ahead for an appointment instead of walking in. So please call ahead for an appointment. I will be back for another cut. It’s only 20.00 for a cut, you can’t beat that price. It’s a small barbershop so it’s best to come by yourself if you can or maybe if it’s empty seats available

This was my first time going there. Mr. Rose is a consummate professional. His shop is small, but very friendly and respectable (the way I like it). Old school barbery at finest. Still doing razor shaves and edge ups, along with the hot towel treatments. I've been at my same barber for over 20 years, but due to recent changes in scheduling, I've probably found myself a new one. I highly recommend this location. I'll definitely be back.

Fast Friendly Family Oriented Service. Mr. Rose and D. Rose never meet a stranger and are very well equipped to handle all your haircut needs. I drive 35 miles on way to be serviced in this shop and I never leave disappointed.

I've been going to Callie St. Barbershop for 41 Years. Mr. Rose and D. Rose are the best when it comes to hair cuts, but more so the atmosphere of an old school Barbershop. You will learn something's and wisdom is always coming through the doors. A staple in the community.

Callie St Barbershop is family I have been a customer there over 25 years they have two great barbers who are related which truly gives it that family atmosphere not to mention they can really cut hair my son now has been going for 20 years as well what does that say they are the best in Houston.

Both Mr Rose and D Rose are great barbers. This is a comfortable family friendly barbershop. It's small, but a great atmosphere, great prices, and great cuts.
