Came here based on a friend's recommendation and I’ve been twice now. Writing this after the second cut because Alaa is super consistent. He really takes his time with the clippers and scissors to get the balance right, and he actually listens to what you want. He goes above and beyond with the cleaning too. Wait times are normal, I usually just call ahead and then head over. Super convenient that they take Zelle as well. The price is basically what you’d pay at a big chain, but the quality here is way better. Definitely worth it.

Do not recommend Best Barbershop. This was one of the worst experiences I have had. I had an appointment with Ahmed at 8:30 AM, and he confirmed it in the morning. When I arrived, his attitude was very unprofessional. He acted arrogant and spoke in a disrespectful way. Customer service was poor, and I did not feel valued as a customer. Very disappointing experience.

I love this place. Kamal is a highly experienced barber who can handle a wide variety of cuts and always delivers great results. The prices are reasonable, and they’re open late, which makes it super convenient.

I’ve been getting my haircuts from Kamal at Best Barber Shop, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Kamal is extremely skilled, detail-oriented, and takes his time to make sure the cut is exactly what you want. He listens, gives great suggestions when needed, and consistently delivers clean, sharp results. His team is very professional and highly skilled

I love coming to this barber shop all the time, especially Alaa he is nice and respectful I give him credit. He does a perfect job even if you give him hard hair styles he still does perfect. Thank y'all and please give Alaa credit for bring a hard worker and for being nice and respectful.

I decided to stop by because i saw some pretty good reviews, and my barber was out of town. I dont know what i expected, but i was extremely happy with the results. The place is very clean and everyone was nice, and they did a great job on my fade. Appreciate you Alaa, ill be back.

Best Barber Shop on University Blvd is hands down the best grooming spot in Sugar Land! Walked in today for a classic fade and beard trim, and as always, the vibe was spot-on—clean, modern setup with that welcoming neighborhood feel that makes you relax right away. The barber (shoutout to the team there; they're all pros) took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, and the precision work? Chef's kiss. My edges are sharp, fade is flawless, and I left feeling like a million bucks.What sets this place apart is the no-rush attitude—they're all about quality over quantity, and it shows in every snip.
