I’ve been seeing George for nearly 10 years for all my haircuts, and it’s always a great experience. He’s consistently professional, friendly, and does excellent work. He even took care of both me and my mom with back-to-back appointments. Highly recommend!

I was in Houston for the Afrotech conference and needed a lineup with the beard and I found Luther on Google. Luther provided an excellent experience, professional and very good line up! I will be back to Luther’s shop Aware when I’m in the city again in need of a cut. He is legit! I wish he was in Atlanta because he would be my new barber.

Luther was nothing short of excellent, he was very polite and welcoming, the man is an artist!!. This was by far the best experience I've had at any Barber shop in the world. Highly recommended to go see Luther, you won't be disappointed.

Hands Down, the best barbershop experience I have ever had. I'm in town for business and needed a cut on short notice. Location was right across the street from my hotel downtown. Luther fit me in immediately and gave me A+ service from beginning to end! I can't shout his praises enough! Do yourself a favor and come see him!

I was in Downtown Houston running errands, but was in need of a haircut. After quickly searching the area via Google, I came across Aware Inc. Barbershop. I called for potential openings and Luther said he was immediately available. I requested a skin fade with beard services. Upon completion, the results were great! Luther was very attentive, friendly, and skilled at his craft. Personally, if I lived closer to the downtown area I'd be happy to stop in weekly. Prices are competitive and service is great, I'd highly recommend. I'm sure I'll be stopping by in the future.

Got a haircut here last week as a walk-in when my regular barber and most others in the downtown area are closed on Monday. The place is kind of a hole in the wall so its easy to miss as I almost walked right past it, but inside is a very spacious and professional looking barbershop. Being a Monday, I was seated right away as I walked in. There looks to be just two barbers here (brothers), so there may or may not be longer wait times on busier days. My barber (guy in the back room) did an excellent job on my fade and got me looking right for my meeting the next day. Price is steep for a haircut ($45) compared to what I'm used to in midtown ($25), but I guess that's downtown for ya. 5/5, would recommend.

First time customer and I will be coming here in the foreseeable future! It was 20 min before the online-posted closing time but Luther made room for me. Service was excellent, from asking about preferences, orienting about options, to taking care to clean up and keeping things tidy. Luther's attention to detail and professionalism did not get on his way to also be very pleasant and provide a comfort level that is missing among his competitors. Thank you Luther for an amazing experience!

George is amazing! I have been knowing him since I was 12. 30 YEARS! Won't trust anyone else with my hair. He is the KING OF all things HAIR. NO matter race, age, hair texture. He CAN FIX YOU UP. My Indian hair HAPPY!!

George is so professional and so comfortable to be around. He is so warm and funny. I felt immediately relaxed and George does amazing hairstyles. He is so professional and my hair was amazing. Love love love his services and I would go back in a heartbeat if I lived in Houston. Amazing hairstylist.
