There was nearly a fight that broke out between the students there. And 1 of them was coloring my hair. Very very unprofessional. But I paid her for her services when I should have just walked out. I'll never ever return.

Very nice placeto get your haircut at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and good students doing a Great Job. You have to come down and it'll be worth your time. Plenty of parking off-street. The experience will bring you back.

I’m a student at this college & the director Mrs D is an angel. She really does all she can to get her students on the path of success in the barbering industry. Also the instructors are very informative & knowledgeable. I’m really grateful I walked through the doors of Acres Home Barber College!!

Acres home barber college is a great place to start your career as a barber in Houston Texas they have an awesome instructor that teaches you the in and outs of barbering the structure they have is great. You will learn every way to cut possible. I appreciate the school for helping me on my journey ✊🏽💪🏾

As a student at the Legendary Acres Home Barber College I felt obligated to write a review about my experience.I have to say starting this journey with no barber experience and literally couldn't "cut my way of a paper bag". I have been provided life skills that will enable me to make a difference in other people's lives. I have to commend the staff of Will, Mrs.Dorothy, Ms. Candie and Monroe on being catalyst's that sparks and shapes the minds of their students. I'm really glad that I was given the opportunity to gain my tutelage under such an awesome team of individuals. Now I can honestly say that I can cut my way out of a paper bag...Lol. I would recommend to any aspiring barber to sit down and discuss your options. By me being a full time employee their flex program complimented my life style perfectly. I'm giving this institution a Five Star ***** rating!

Acres Homes Barber College had changed our family’s life forever. I came to the US about 20 plus years ago struggling with life working at a donut shop 7 days a week barely making $50 a day. Because I didn’t speak much English, finding a job with better pay was not possible. I had no experience with barbers or hairdressers but due to working at a dead end job I forced myself to go to get a trade, so I attended Acres Homes Barber College. The owner, Pop, Will and Mrs. Dorothy are beautiful people both in and outside, theirs kind hearts took me in helping me out anyway they could along the way. Now after 18 years later I proudly building my awesome career working at Best Barber #1 I couldn’t be more happier how my whole life turned out. Because of Acres Homes, I am able to live my current lifestyle including paid off my house/vehicle notes, took endless vacations, as well as currently putting my son in college. Thank you Acres Homes of what you have done for me as a proudest one of your family.

Greeted fast and sweet my oldest got his hair cut first look decent for a simple fade then my youngest went up and I know he has some curly hair but the guy must had been trying to move to fast or never cut long hair because ill post my outcome I know its just a hair cut to some but to others its the way the world sees them i know its a 6 dollar hair cut I don't expect the best I just expect their best.
