I haven't been to Lu's in a while. I start a new job on Monday and I needed a fresh cut. John did a great job. I look good and feel confident going to work on Monday.

I cannot say enough good things about Lesa at Lu’s Barber Shop in Friendswood. As a woman with a pixie cut, it can be tough to find someone who truly knows how to shape, balance, and fix short hair, and Lesa absolutely nailed it. I went to her hoping she could shape my pixie cut, and I walked out genuinely loving my new haircut. She listened, paid attention to the details, and clearly knows how to work with short styles on women. The cut looks clean, modern, and perfectly shaped. The best part? My husband loves it too, and he’s delighted with how my hair looks (which says a lot!). My husband actually recommended Lu’s Barber Shop to me; he’s a regular customer at the Pearland location, and even though barber shops are often thought of as more for men, my experience proved they are absolutely a great option for women too. 💯✂️ If you’re a woman considering a pixie cut—or need one rescued—Lesa is your person. Scheduled an appointment last Wednesday for 12pm. Showed up and the barber never showed. I waited 18 minutes after 12 and the barber never came to work. I told them that I was gonna leave and they didnt try to fit me in or even reschedule me. Felt very undervalued. I also wrote in to their actual business website and no one responded back to me.

She has definitely great understanding of what a person needs. I have been really nervous to cut off almost 3 years of hair, and she makes this fabulous comeback! It’s really a great fit! A fresh start!
