I had a great experience getting my haircut here. Chris was very professional, paid close attention to detail, and made sure the cut was exactly how I wanted it. The shop was clean, welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend Chris if you’re looking for quality work and great customer service!

Joseph is the 100% the best barber I’ve ever had! You can definitely tell he loves what he does! Pays attention to detail and takes his time. Super easy to talk to, never an awkward moment. Would highly recommend him to anyone 10/10

I’ve been here twice now and both experiences have been great. The shop itself is really nice and they offer complimentary drinks (including beer if you’re 21+), which is a cool touch. Joseph has taken care of me both times and absolutely got me right. He’s talented, pays attention to detail, and is easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a great cut.

This is hands down the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend Christian and Joel — they’re true masters of their craft. Their attention to detail, skill, and professionalism are unmatched. On top of that, they’re incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely friendly, making every visit a great experience. I usually cut my own hair but since it was my birthday I decided to go somewhere nice to get a cut so I made an appointment online with Christian for first available. My cut couldn’t be more simple, just a high fade with a little of the top. He had me sitting with my back to the mirror the whole time which I thought was odd and then faded the sides with a trimmer not saying a word the while time then after less than 10 minutes took my cape off and spun me around and was done. He didn’t even cut any off the top or use scissors at all. I said that’s it?? He said “oh you wanted some of the top?” Like he was annoyed and it was so awkward I just wanted to leave. He didn’t even offer the straight-razor neck shave or the 2-minute massage that was supposed to be part of the classic cut. My hair doesn’t look bad, but for the price I paid I might as well go to great clips or something. I thought this was some sort of elevated experience but I was wrong

Possibly the best haircut ever. Ever. Maddy was the barber, and she is fantastic. A total professional. Very talented. She knew exactly what she was doing—strong hands, great instincts, tremendous precision. I sat down, and honestly, it was like she already knew the haircut before I said a word. That’s rare. Very rare. The fade? Perfect. The lines? Clean. The style? Winning. People noticed immediately—“Great haircut,” they said. A lot of compliments. Everyone’s talking about it. I’ve been to Mynt a few times and have always had a great experience. Popped in today to get cleaned up for the holidays. Maddy E. Did my cut and it was perfect. I’m pretty particular about my beard and not everyone knows how to cut beards correctly. Maddy did an amazing job with sculpting it perfectly. The atmosphere of the place is really cool and Maddy was super personable. five stars highly recommend.

This was my first time here I’ve really struggled in the past to find a barber I liked. Immediately the atmosphere was super cool lots of friendly nice people and very accommodating. Maddy did my cut and did a fantastic job she said she was new to the shop but gave on of the best barber experiences that I’ve had. All around great shop I highly recommend Maddy and I will be returning here regularly.

This is my first time writing an online review. I’ve been coming to Mynt Barbershop for about six months now, and I usually book with Chloe—she’s amazing. I’ve also had cuts from a few other barbers here, and they’ve all done a great job. However, during a recent visit, I was randomly assigned to Kiki Taylor. I asked for a “V-burst fade,” which I’ve gotten before, but she didn’t know what the “V” meant and asked me to show her a picture. That was fine, but she added, “because YOU’RE not familiar with the barber curriculum,” which felt a bit rude and unnecessary feeling as like she was pretty much calling me uneducated. During the haircut, she shaved a lot more of my hair than usual, including the entire sides and back. Other barbers usually leave some length where the hair meets the sides of my head. When I expressed concern, she told me to “trust the process,” but by then, she had already cut off so much that I didn’t really have a choice. While cutting, she also talked about awkward topics, using profanity even though there were kids around and I’m a minor myself, it just made me kinda uncomfortable which is rare for me. It just didn’t feel professional at all. When the cut was done, she didn’t ask for permission before taking pictures of me. She just told me to sit in a different chair and started taking photos, even though I was clearly unhappy with the result. I felt uncomfortable and pressured to let her take them. She noticed I wasn’t happy and just said, “You’ll have to wait a couple months for it to grow back ,” while laughing, which felt dismissive and upsetting. She told me she was new to the shop but had 11 years of experience. After I got home, I looked her up and saw that she specializes more in hair coloring than barbering. That confused me, if she’s more experienced in coloring, maybe a salon would be a better fit than a barbershop. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back, and I hope the shop takes this feedback seriously.
