Ernie is the best I'm 45 minutes away but Ernie is the best wish the price was still 25 but it is what it is. My son also gets his hair cut here. To all the customers that are complaining about the service I call lies. The most professional and down the earth Barber. If you want a stylus kick rocks to Supercuts 😂💯

Ernie and Sally were great . But as of Dec. 12, 2025 they are closed. Lights out, doors locked and furniture and equipment moved out. They had bee struggling financially for years. If anyone knows where Ernie and Sally ended up please post here.

Great no frills old school barber shop. Back of neck shave and hot towel comes with the haircut, just like it should. Can't get this classic haircut at a commercial chain place, only at gems like this.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful antique barbershop. The barbers get you right in no appointments needed. Ask for Ernie or Sally they are both great. Love the atmosphere. My husband goes no where else.

Been going in here since I moved to Fort Worth 7 years ago. Ernie is a great barber. But the price has consistently been going up, now it’s $30 just for a simple man’s haircut. Now they have competition not 2 blocks away. Which is much cheaper and just as a good haircut. Wish ya the best but won’t be back.

Ernie gave me the worst haircut of my adult life. I went in last week and had no wait to sit in Ernie’s chair. Asked for him to just clean it up around the neck and ears, a “Low Fade”. He agreed and soon after I sat down he used his clippers to start the haircut but I felt them go up the side of my hard and past my temples. The damage was already done at that point and really nothing you can say to bring it back, so I just let him finish. You know a haircut is bad when you get home and your wife says, “WHAT THE F!$K HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR!?! DON’T EVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE!” He also used a very loud air compressor right next my ears to blow off the hair after the cut. Two stars because the neck trim was great. I am not looking forward to wearing a hat for the next 3-4 weeks.

First time I took my oldest to an actual barbershop! Ernie was amazing and listened to what I wanted and my son. He talked football with him and made my boy so happy. We have been going to sport clips with just mediocre cuts. We will be back! My son even said that he wanted to keep coming to Ernie! Thank you for a wonderful first experience. He even suggested a hair gel that was healthy for his hair not because he was selling something his shopped sponsored.

I’ve had many barbers over the years and Ernie has been the best. He is a true professional and loves his craft. He is the only barber I shave with and in the 6-7 years I’ve been coming to him he has never cut me. Buzz and Sally are both good barbers and all three engage with their clients. They all do a good job and that is the reason they are always busy. Ernie works Sundays too so that is extremely convenient.
