I’ve been going to Village Barber Shop since I moved to the DFW area, 25 years ago. I lived close by back then, but now live 25 miles away. I get a great cut every time. Wade is my usual barber but any of the barbers will do a great job. Friendly atmosphere with the barbers and customers interacting. Highly recommended them.

I had a great haircut and I like the also do a neck shave. This place is perfect for a no frills barbershop which is what I prefer compared to all these new barbershops trying to make you pay extra for nonsense like having a bar and lounge

Good flattop barbers are hard to find. Wade was recommended to me by a fellow flattop wearer. He is worthy of the recommendation. The horseshoe flat can be especially challenging as there is no room for error. Wade nailed it. Before and after. Sadly they no longer offer hot lather face shave however the complimentary shoulder and neck massage after the haircut is a nice touch.

No Frills Barbershop Very friendly and welcoming staff that seems to have good repore with regular clients. Surrounding is traditional barbershop decor with a good ole boy feel. The haircut itself could have used a little more experience but should work great for those looking for just a cut and not too particular. I do agree with another review about the chairs all turned away from the mirror during the cut, while I was there. Maybe it's a traditional barber thing but it makes it difficult to make any suggestions until it's basically done.

When I go here I feel like I am back in Mayberry! I enjoy the personal touch to their customers. Makes my conversations pleasant and very enjoyable. Just what you would expect, a good old barbershop!

A real barber shop. You walk in, put your name on the list, get called up in order (I’ve never had to wait more than 20 mins) and get an actual good looking cut from professional barbers, not kids out of beauty college. You pay cash as God intended. If you’re looking for a salon, there are plenty. If you want actual barbers, you go here. Oh, they fix salon cuts if you need them to. They are fast too.

Good man but bad hair cut ( my hair cut is easy one ) Waited 1 hour - price is 25$ good I have tried hundreds of barbers but this time it was the worst hair cut maybe because he was in rush ? Or maybe because I asked him to make it shorter but in the end I will not try again Until today everyone saying what have you done to your hair 😆💔

I have been getting my hair cut by Matt for a long time. He is an amazing barber always does an amazing job. The shop is clean the other barbers are great they greet you when you come in, the atmosphere is always good. I recommend Matt or any other the other barbers at Village to any and everyone.

I stumbled across this place a few years ago. They had a cheeky sign about fixing not to great clips. They definitely fixed the terrible haircut I got from another business around the corner. I've been using them ever since. All the barbers are excellent, but Matt is my go to. This is a proper barbershop, and it's all quality over quantity. You'll get a great cut, a pristine shave, and probably a movie while they fix you up. You won't be in and out in 10 minutes, but when you leave, your wife will start eying you up like your first date. I used to have a pretty standard cut until Matt made a recommendation. I put my trust in Matt and he made me look sharp. Now, that's the only haircut I want so as long as I have hair. Final note, no credit cards. Always double check you have enough cash before going in.

Been coming here for the last eight years on and off, always loved how professional Matt, Wade and Joe are. Joe gave me my first haircut here in 2012 when I was 18. After two months in quarantine, Joe again provided me with the best haircut I’ve had in many years, and will be returning for every haircut in the future. Glad a great local barber still exists. What you ask for is what you’re going to get. 10/10.
